Hi!Im an engg grad from NIT Trichy with 9.5yrs exp, good acads all through.Yet to take GMAT.Fairly good EC activities but reserved person with subtle leadership skills. Im keen on doing my MBA, preferably from ISB.One thing im hesitant about is: i had to take a 1 yr break from work to recover from physical & emotional marital abuse n the whole process of divorce (single mom too) .Now how would this break b viewed by the interview panel n does this mean bleak chances of admit..How to go about it? Please advice.
I have almost finished with my essays and am about to submit my application for ISB, Hyd. But while filling in the application there are two problems I am facing. Firstly in the section where I have to fill in details about my parents, what should I fill if I do not have parents? And secondly I do not have an IR score since I took my GMAT more than 3 years back, so what should I fill in?
Guys, I have GMAT: 650, Work Exp: 36 months in family owned Food processing industry, X: 75%, XII: 85%, B.Tech: 6.1/10. Please suggest me B-School in India.
I am currently doing M.com. Completed my graduation in B.com this year(2014) from Mithibai College. I am also doing articleship training as a CA aspirant (started in Feb 2013) and also working part time (occasionally) in family business of exports and manufacturing. I want to go abroad to pursue MBA (general, finance, HR, Advt) preferably in USA. Please suggest me some good universities in which I can apply for admission for SEP (fall) 2015. I'll give my GMAT and TOEFL in first week of DEC 14.
I had a full time internship for 6 months and then I got converted to permanent employee. As of now I have a total of 2.8 years of experience(Excluding Internship).Should I include the experience of 6 months as Intern in my MBA profile(All B-Schools) as well or Internship Experience is not considered by any of the schools?Because with Internship experience I will have Experience of 3.4 years and when I join the school it will be 3.10 years of experience.

I took the GMAT last month and selected 5 schools to send my scores to on the test day. I did not score quite to my expectations and I am going to take the GMAT again. My question is that should I choose a different set of schools to send my scores this time.
To be clear, my top 5 schools are still the ones I selected on the 1st attempt and I want them to see my 2nd attempt scores as well. So will sending the scores to them once allow them to see all my scores when I apply to them and therefore I can choose a different set of schools or do I need to resend my scores to my top 5.
Hello fellas,I have been putting a lot of effort in my GMAT preparation however my verbal scores are not improving. When I study myself I am well aware of all the concepts of CR and sentence correction. However when I am giving my exam, I tend to forget all the rules, instead of applying the rules, I answer the questions plainly. This has caused a lot of problem, I gave my GMAT exam today and my scores were very less and I am disappointed with myself. Do you guys have any suggestions to improve my verbal scores in GMAT. I am planning to give my GMAT exam in another 2 months.
If you folks have been through similar situation, please do let me know the way out of this. Any suggestions are welcome.
