For me the best place was Himalayas..! However cliched it may sound, it truly is "heaven on earth". One needs to experience the feeling that is got after a hard day's trek... When you reach your destination and when the cold wind blows over your face... Heaven...!!
I have experienced it twice, once in Sarpass and next in Saarkundi Pass. Puys, if you get an oppurtunity for the Himalayan trek, don't miss it..!!
And by the way, i wish that next year i'll say "The best place i have visited so far is IIM-A"
3 of my best places visited so far:
1) Switzerland
2) Kangra valley
3) Goa
a)Wagah Border
b)Manali
c)As of now, IMT Ghz campus ...(Space reserved )
Good to know so many places but little more details about these places would be appreciated 😃 like what is for sight seeing in that place, what should be bought from this place or what is the special dish that should be tried there etc 😃
Goa is beautiful
Best place dat i visited was -

The best place that I have visited has to be Goa.
You have everything there..beautiful beaches(Calingute, Anjuna, Vagator, Wagah, etc),water sports, Forts(Aquara,DCH), Churches, Temples and so many other things. I ve really some wonderful memories of that place especially the cruise that we have over there.
Everything about Goa is so beautiful.
Goa, no doubt about it, but u guys have to check out this resort named Serai in Chikmagalur. Its an amazing place, great for a weekend break.
I also like Leh. Its just a beautiful place

For The Serai : The Serai
Leh : OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF DISTRICT LEH (LADAKH)
i dont think u will need any details for goa cause it is easily available on the internet... We stayed at the Hotel Park Inn there and was good, but it is better if you take a plan with only stay and breakfast... cause the food in that hotel is not that great.
Best place would Paris.
I stayed in Siena ,Italy for 3 months. In between I visited Paris twice for around a week.Believe me guys its beautiful and romantic.Siene river area and Eiffel tower at the night just looks beautiful. The roads, the night life, people at around 4 am in the night freely walking down the roads, the couples in their moments, guyz and girls riding bicyles at night, food, wines, smoking cigrettes freely, nothing in your mind, away from your country but still pretty close to it.Heart beats ,the diversity of people, beautiful french accent gently touching you .Just makes me smile whenever I think about that place.
Fantastic place.Loved it.

Euphoric SaysGoa, but Port Blair wont be far behind in the list as well.
Puys I lived in Goa for an year for Job.
I didnt like it though...People crowed commercialization....
I liked it once when four of us close friend went to see south Goa beaches from Colva down to Palolem..on bike with no plans at all where we want to go....
My view...
Though north India has many lovely places to go, in my college days I was not having much money to go such a long distance..
Sahyadri Mountains has many good places to visit
I have never been to Khandala Lonavla Matheran BUT
Four, five places in sahyadri really amused me...
I will say, I like it, when suddenly on a beautiful evening You make plans to go some where....with some closed friends.... You search overnight about the place on internet.......
Start early in the morning next day with a back pack having merely a bed sheet or so some food stuff... a torch .. machines..regular trekkies will know about it...
Have a good day all tired up by walking up hill....evening sunset....at the top....stay in some Temple or Hut.....what ever you get...with no electricity..skyfull of stars...night bonfire....
Morning start coming down...
You feel connected to Nature and friends....

the place is 30km from banglore... gud place to spend weekend
Puys, Basically I changed my career track and have about a month to do something seriously far out So other than get a tattoo, get sloshed, dance on the road and a few more crazy stuff, I am planning to do a Konkan bike trip (on my bullet) in the mid of MArch - Pune to Alibaug and then further down all the way to Mangalore.
IF anyone has done it this time of the year, then please advice about how dumb it is, or how adventurous (even remotely). How about scenery (how coastal is the coastal ride), food, stay, road conditions, puncture shops, garages etc etc.
Additionally, if anyone wants to join, that would be just ideal. Cheers.
