imho,
LIBA is not as good as BIM or GIM... we have BIM.. GIM (they can be interchanged) then XISS XIME then ITM and LIBA... again, it's only my opinion...
apart from the rankings, which may vary from person to person, I suppose one should look at all the other options b4 jumping to a really not so good institute.. even for backup purposes...


I want apply for XISS and already applied for XIME. throw light on it. I fear to apply for it because it is very near to Bihar! Please help me!

hey.. bihar may be lawless... but remember, xlri is near bihar too 😃 😃 on a serious note, xiss == backup ... get xime, ignore xiss as simple as that...

any of u guys applied to liba pls do reply!

i send my dd to liba! there is no confirmation mail from their side of the receipt!

bim dd i send a day later and i have already received their prospectus!

does liba send any confirmation! am really worried ! i donno whether they have received my dd or not!

am gonna call them up!

if the bim info turns up to be true then i would consider my self a victim of their deadline extension!

there dead line is 28 feb for gods sake!

some of the guys with calls from xl ximb and sibm who dont clear gd would rush for bim forms and the cut off would scream higher like in the case of sibm! :huh:

gim may or may not be a good b-school but they did not extend the dead lines like most other schools ! i really appreciate that!

plz advice whethet i shuld apply 2 XIME ,LIBA,BIM .I am sort of confused by the discussions on the forum.i have a miserable 77.6 percentile in the XAT and am not sure whether i wll recieve calls from any of them,btw just shamelessly checked the GIM results an dthe result the now familiar regret letter.plz reply..:huh:

BIM>XIME>Loyola=ITM is my take on things... as such, dont expect a low cutoff from bim... BIM=GIM... 77.6 and 84.44 in my opinion will not fetch BIM calls. again, this is only my opinion, and i have nothing to do with BIM admission decesions... i have been saying this a lot lately, possibly because thats what i am thinking of, but if you can afford to start mba next year, give cat/xat again, and if you are confident that you can do better than this time, then think if it is worth taking the risk as compared to taking admission in a not so good institute

dude, if you dont have the xlri, ximb, sibm calls, and didnt apply for gim, with your score, i think the logical thing to do would be to apply to bim..... me thinks you should get a call....

but the question u need to ask urself is should i try bim or should i give cat ,xat another try!

as wise men say ! bell the cat!

u decide whether i have it in me to do it all again !
