mmmm.... me thinking.. u given any thot to apply to XISS, XIME, LIBA, ITM? but the question is, do you NEED to start ur mba this year? i am not doubting you, i am saying u can improove lots on this in one more attempt... not that i have anything against these institutes.. they are good... but if u really can afford to wait another year... just think about it?
friends, i dont have many calls to convert..just 1 or 2. my XAT score is 70.17 percentile.
few suggested me abt ITM-navi mumbai.but i am completely ignorant of this inst. is it good? i have browsed the forums reg ITM, but seems like general opnion too is diverse(mixed response)...and i didnt help me in any way. given my percentile, is there any chance?

both, aakarsh and doora7... let me clarify first that this is my personal opinion... based on what i know abt these places, which may or may not be correct... xime better than xiss. itm and xime equal. while this is true, do consider abt what i said earlier, if you believe you have the potential to do better, then think if you can afford to start mba next year, prepare well for cat / xat / fms / any other, get a good score... God willing, you may get a great score and end up in an IIM... personally, i have done O.K in these exams.. no IIM, no MDI/SPJain.. no FMS no XLRI.... but yes, IRMA, Somaiya, MICA and possibly GIM, BIM and XISS XIME etall... but i still am thinking i should attempt FMS and CAT next year... after all this, let me say, it's your life, you have to face whatever music is being played, not me... so it's your call. choose wisely, choose well, and all the best.
Guys serious help needed! I had sent my draft along with a request for application form to XIME afta they extended their last date to feb 10! But I have not yet received my form till now and the last date of sending the filled in form back is feb 15! Now I will be leaving on 13th for Hyderabad and so would not be able to send my form! It would be really sweet if someone can give me the exact information asked in the form so that accordingly I can explain my folks to fill the form on my behalf and send it! thanks in advance!

hey, i sent my xime form but i have the photocopy... what info do u need ???? u want all th fields in the form or what?
peeps, any idea abt gd/pi dates of GIM and XISS? XIME will have gd/pi between 25 feb and 12 mar... i have MICA on 25th and GIM on 8th... If all others come in this time, well, i dunno

well its a plain simple form attach 2 photo, sign over it enter ur XAT percentile in the box provided attach the xerox copy of XAT scorecard choose ur GD/PI centre
pg1 xat roll no xat test centre xat score full name as in degree cert date of birth / age / sex / marital status religion / sc/st / mother tongue / nationality / name of father or guardian mailing address / permanent address tel nos / email if applied for xime b4, if yes, which year
pg2 languages known academic record awards / achievements / scholarships etc
pg3 work ex (only if min 6mths) nature of work for wrk ex why did u choose to apply 4 xime mailing address
pg4 declaration sign
u need to paste 2 photographs, 1 on pg1 and 1 on pg2, and sign across that
Some news for ppl apply/applied to BIM. My pal's dad who knows a Prof in BIM stated that the cutoff 's would be around 90%. This the overall percentile, Im not sure if BIM has sectionals. This is just hearsay, could be wrong also.
Also,When are the BIM results gonna come out? There is no mention of it in the BIM site.

to get back, bim, xime xiss... wakeup guys, we need people to talk.. i know its like the group of blind guys describing an elephant.. but thats all we can do unless some seniors chip in..
btw, bim calls,... called up bim fellows, no answer as to when the calls will be out.. i was stonewalled with last date of app is 28th feb, and calls will be out after that... c'mon.. even a bachha will tell the calls will be after the application deadline... any of u ppl have had better luck?
