congrats on being shortlisted will u plz pst ur overall as sectional score of xat. i think it would be helpful 2 all others in getting a idea abt the min. percentile.
Called BIM up, tonite/tomo morning u get the Weblist of candidates, about 700 candidates, anyone over 90 % is thru.

i got 92.23 with 77/90/95(v/q/gk), can i expect call. I have given Tirupati address and now I am in Chennai. Please qoute ur XAT scores?
sorry for not posting my xat score. but I have a very low score of 68 percentile. Iam a Tamilnadu BC candidate. So I know I was shortlisted under the BC category. I expect the cutoff to b equal to that of LIBA.

and im a spectator, so have a better view abt TRICHY the great and BIM
1-THE LOCATION-BIM is 20 km away from the CORE CITY and RAILWAY STATION
NIT is 22 km away from the CITY.
Life is CHAAT in BIM more specifically TRICHY
nOTHING TO enjoy in city, only temples are there
2-THE ILLUSION-From north india this place TAMIL NADU looks so good,

Great Initiative man..The first thing BIM needs is a gud PR. For all its achievements, BIM has always been unnoticed
I feel for sure, BIM is far better than any other institution in Tamilnadu and is comparable with any top level management institution. Some of my friends are studying in BIM, and they say though its located in trichy, (not the ideal place u want a management institution to be) it is doing good job.
Very recently a team of 4 students have won scholarship to participate in GSEC, University of Washington, out of 170 entries thru out the world. Only other participant is IIM A
As for stories saying that BIM doesnt have gud placement record, well guys pls check out the details....This year the companies visited BIM Includes top level private comp and Public Sector (How many PSU's visit MBA Colleges??? and give 6.5+ Lacs per annum Ex: Power Finance Corporation)
Positive Side

i have been shortlisted for gd,pi yaar.but a big big dilemma i have got my jntu final exam on the 20th which is the day of the gd,pi.i have got no other call n want to desperately attend this one.will they postpone the date if v request.somebody plzzzzzzzz help me out.pr com if u can post nething regarding this plzz do post.by the way i live in hyderabad n gd is in chennai.
hi guys i have been shortlisted for the gd pi. i had a overall xat percentile of 87.74. my sectional's where quant 74 english 88 and general awareness 87.i have my gd pi on 24 th april in chennai.

i also made it but one thing is sure that these ppl r not looking for sectiona cutoffs. My overall is 96.21 but section wise it's too low in Verbal

So one can easily say that these ppl r not looking in sections.
Mine GD is on 20th in IFMR. Any bosy having the same venue plz make me aware i am an Delhi guy and never went to South. Can any body tell me abt the location so i can be there on time.
got a call...21st April, IFMR...but there's a huge chance that aint gonna attend it...or perhaps if i do attend it then this is one interview where i wont be worryin...
am takin up GIM for sure... n e way - Raj Deepak - after reaching the station - just take an auto to Kothari Road, Nungambakkam...IFMR is right on that street... btw, haggle a bit over the auto fare - coz an autoride is one of the dearest things in chennai...u may even want to compare the prepaid taxi(there's a system in place for it at Chennai Central) fare with it...

nope buddy!! Since this is a govt clg they give domicile preferences to community. Only the SC/ST candidates all over India are eligible for reservations in BIM

Congratulations to all of u who got the call for gd/pi. Somebody had asked for changing dates of gd/pi as it was clashing with exams.We clarified it with ofiice...they say it can be changed....You will have to make a request to BIM admissions office by sending a mail to them and then following some procedure as told by them.So if any of you need to change the dates,you may call up bim and get the procedure clarified.
Needless to mention,the dates will be changed within the dates allotted for gd/pi.Best of luck...have a blast at gd/pi.

haven't used the comp in quite some time got to know by snail mail yesterday..so a little late.......... got a call too.......... 21st IFMR....... congrats to all who got a call......
Can somebody tell as to what are the dates of these interviews (what date they start from and end by) so that we can choose one from them incase we want to shift from the alotted date.
