this may sound as one of the dumbest questions to ask..but i need to knw the answer to it.... the field in which we want to specialize in such as marketing ,hr etc, how do we go abt it, as in does the institute take that as an input while joining the course or is it up to the student to take up at the end of 1st yr of the course?
And, BIM is known for excellence in which field ??

well BIM doesnt force ne one to take ne specializantions,,its completely upto u how u wannu mix and mtch ur electives every trim in the second yr based on what u think will be useful for ur career or still short term ur placements..u will just get a MBA degree at the end of it all..there wont be any mention abt the specializations..wether single,double or general..hmm..u can bring ur car or bike..no issues.slaray details,companies refer to the website..the placement report has been uploaded...me ashwin from the 21st batch..

I am pretty surprised at such ridiculous slander against BIM. Being an alumnus of this institute, it is indeed hurting to find such fictitious details like "1 lakh salary and such...". I urge all members to exercise caution in what they write in a public forum and also to verify and validate the information that they are posting for public view. I believe thats the common minimum etiquette that is expected from any self respecting individual.
The truth is far different and BIM does hold its own against the likes of TAPMI, GIM and the rest!!!

again thanks for the early reply murugesh , but still there are many other queries which i feel demands explanation,
1. when i asked students fr the current batch abt BIM BMA the way they replied is so sarcastic , i am not exaggerating but any aspirants can call up trichy n talk to them u will know the truth.
2. also one of the current batch student told me tht when any institute opens up its new division its a matter of pride but here its completely opposite.
3. BIM T as a matter of fact has always suffered fr a poor PR , i think the same will happn to BIM B too as the response which one gets fr the bim t guys are revolting in nature , in terms like this where there is so much ambiguity everyone expects guys fr BIM T to cum forward to shoulder their counterparts but we see a cold response fr their end,
4.Murugesh i really dont know as to whts really happin with respect to the proceedings as u mentioned tht steps are bein taken , but being an alumini u shld help in bringing the current bim t guys to the forefront and answer to the queries then i think no one will doubt its credibility.but inspiteof this wht the current aspirants get to hear fr them is tht "THEY THEMSELVES DONT KNOW ABT BIM BMA , N KINDLY DO THE RESEARCH WORK B4 TAKIN SUCH RISK", MURUGESH wht u have to say for this statement forwarded by one of ur juniors
u said abt the growth aspect of the institute , but wht kind of growth can u forsee when the current bim t guys have such a cold attitude towards this issue , , why shld nyone treat the other in a manner which is not accepted n u say abt being fr the same family
u have also mentioned tht the bim bma scam thread shld be closed , my question to u is tht why shld it be closed when so many issues are still left unattended ,
also can u tel us all wht wht effort has been made by BIM T guys towards this issue i

1) BMA Is Just the Infrastructure Provider....for BIM -B ..they provide hostel rooms food and transport...like BHEL Gives Infrastructure for BIM...this was the reply given by Director of BIM shankaran
2) BIM -B is pretty fine...and it is just llike BIM -T ...where all the professors comes from TRICHY...TO TEACH STUDENTS IN Bim Bangalore..and even in our id cards..we have bim

3) WE ARE BACH OF 54 ..WHERE 70 % OF THEM r Engg and only 4 are Freshers
and Regarding the syllabus it is too refined ......and Even gud then xime another coll of same epute at bangalore......
4) Infrastructure and location is the Advantage ...and we cary the heritage of BIM -T

i read about BIM on pagal guy itself so pls guide me regarding its MBA course nd bout placements nd campus in general i have searched website but since u ppl r there u can tell me better coz i wanna specialize in finance nd if possible guide me some other ins which come under cat or independent known for their finance frm ur exp in field

My dear friend...I cannot specify what percentile would get you a call as of now. What i would suggest is that you visit Welcome to Bharathidasan Institute of Management . Last years cut off's are there..You can check them out and get an idea..
