i want to know whether BIM takes CAT Score based on Community BC/MBC/SC/ST???
if so can u plz tell me the what percentile they take for each community?
also tell me is there a possibility of getting a call with the score 66 in CAT'06

hmm...dude...i ll ve to check with the office on that and it ll be possible only on monday. wat u can do is call up the office on monday and request for a day or two extra..i m sure they ll help u with that

My dear friend...I cannot specify what percentile would get you a call as of now. What i would suggest is that you visit Welcome to Bharathidasan Institute of Management . Last years cut off's are there..You can check them out and get an idea..

hi..u have mentioned that last year's cutoff percentiles are there in bim website..can you tell me the where it is..i didnt find it anywherer in the site..one more thing ..i have applied for bim ..iam a fresher.what % of students in a class are freshers..is there anychance of getting a call if i get 85+percentile in CAT??i have gud acads and extra ciricular activitites...Another doubt regarding bim application..in that application it is mentioned that we have to write the mail ids of some of my frnds who are going to join in bim ..i didnt mention any id ..any problem with it?also it is mentioned in the application to write the names of institutes which i have applied to other than bim..even there i didnt mention anything..is there any problem??

i think u mite have decent chance with ur cat score. I dnt think it will make a difference if u havent mentioned the email id's/name of other institutes.

i sent the form (frm bombay) on 2nd dec by blue dart which reached BIM on 4th dec...(was sceptical about it)

BIM sent the prospectus on the same day( i guess) and i already have it in my hands..!!!! (on 7th dec..) ....considering speed post requires atleast 2-3 days the reply time is indeed the least of all the univs i hv applied to....


HATS OFF TO BIM GUYS FOR SUCH AMAZIN SPEED!!!!!

BIM Trichy takes only CAT scores from this year and i guess the last date is already over!!!:(

How long has it been since you applied?
Sometimes they send out acknowledgement letters together after certain no. of applications are recieved. But you better call them up and confirm if your application has
reached.

just enquired the office...
The shortlisted students list will be available in BIM's website Welcome to Bharathidasan Institute of Management - Reputed MBA School in South India in a couple of days.
Keep checking the site.

The GD/PI process would start somewhere by March.
Be strong with your resume and current affairs.
The look for attitude... so be positive always...
