Hi Rohit, I'm planning to pursue an MBA with focus on supply management. How are the post-MBA placements for this sector in Smith? And placements for Indians in supply chain/logistics/operations.

Hi Rohit,

I am applying for fall of 2014. I plan to do my MBA in Technology Consulting/Strategy.
I have just submitted my application and what to know if i have a chance to get in. I think i belong to a common pool of applicants.
I am an Indian with 13 years of IT experience, graduated from NIT. I have very good technology background- worked for AT&T; (worked on H1B for 6 yrs), Lexmark etc. I also have a patent. But I have a very average GMAT of 640 (could not retake the exam due to some family issues). I just want to know if my age, higher work exp and low GMAT have a -ve impact on my application. Any input from you will be highly appreciated. Thank you!

Few questions regarding UM Smith MBA. These are general questions and sure will help fellow applicants as well.

a.) Does UM Smith provides loans without US Cosigner ?

b.) Is there any opportunity to pursue part-time jobs in 1st or 2nd year to take care of living expenses.

c.) Does getting high grades in 1st year enable partial tuition waiver in 2nd year ?

I am looking forward for applying for Smith for Fall 2015. Below is my profile :- GMAT 670 ( QA 49,VA 32) Total Exp :- 4.5 yrs TCS

Skill Set :- Data warehousing and ETL

EC :- average,Six Sigma Green Belt Certified

Acads :- 73 % in B.Tech in ECE.

Do you think i stand a chance in getting into Smith as well as some scholarship ?

GMAT- 630(v36,Q41)

Exp: 3. and a half years, Infosys

College Percentage: 74% in Btech (C.S)
