Gave the test today. It was the first one for me.

Found VA to be tough. Quant and Di were okay-okay.

Got a total score of 74. I don't know how to compare this score.

Attempted --42
Correct-- 29
Wrong-- 13

Total score-- 74.

I don't know if this score is good or not. I was really dissapointed with my paper. Got stuck in some q's which were lengthy. I will have to learn time management. I was not able to read almost 10 questions.

Hi Puys,

I took my first full-length test - the AIMTEST, on february 18th. I fared as below:

Total Attempts : 57 (19 in each of the three sections)
Correct : 33
Incorrect :24

Total Score : 75

I found the paper to be of moderate difficulty but my scores say otherwise.:splat:

I am not sure how good (or bad) this score is. It would probably help to start a poll so as to get an idea of how others have fared in this test. As I'm a new member, could someone please tell me how to do so? Thanks.

gave test yesterday
Total 88 35C 18W

even I guess VA was bit tough , QA some questions were very simple.. DI they had similar question to one of the class handouts ( one with Salaries of A to E , Taxes and Expenditure ) but couldn't solve it completely ... :banghead:

Congrats Mossad and Ajit....superb score....
i had dismal start...
26 attempts out of which 12 C and 14 W
i end up scoring only 22......highly disappointed and my confidence level is going low...
how do u guys manage such commendable scores???

Congrats on the good score! How did you solve the salary, tax, expenditure question? I spent a lot of time on that set, but to no avail.

did any body get the venn diagram of cricket , football and volleyball....my answer was not matching to the options given

I wasn't able to solve that question. But I made (what I believe to be) an intelligent guess . I'm not sure if we're allowed to discuss these questions on a public forum since it's copyright material. Maybe we can discuss it through PM. Also, I suppose that the solutions will be sent to us after a few days, through mail. All the best to you!

I have this very bad habit of spending too much time on a particular question plus ego problems with the sums.....

had a terrible start. i thought tat i wil do well in quant . i thought di/lr would end in me not even clearing the sectional cutoff . however pleasently suprised i did so well boosted my confidence .congrats to those who got good scores :cheers: . but my overall scores are well :splat:

I f***ed up the VA section. I was not able to clear its sectional cutoff.

Here are my sectional scores:-

VA:-

Score- 6(5R,9W)
Percentile- 74.72%ile

DI:-

Score- 29(11R, 4W)
Percentile- 96.84 %ile

Quant:-

Score- 39(13R,0W)
Percentile- 99.43%ile

Overall:-

Score- 74
Percentile- 98.96%ile
AIR- 92
City Rank- 17(Delhi)


Please help me to improve my VA section. Had a disastrous time attempting the VA section.


One thing to cheer about- This was without preparation and can definitely improve. But, it was the same case with everyone else.
