People having their CAT on 22nd November, Afternoon Slot, please use this thread to find fellow Puys at your center, to discuss last minute strategies before the real thing, and to discuss about the CAT paper. May the force be with us.
With most of the stalwarts here on PG having their exam on 16th evening (my slot) like...Ankan, Shaswat, Abhishek Singhal, Sohom (the guy who tops in SimCATs) and many more I am not even aware of, I am all set to go for paper. I am gonna need lots of blessing and bandages to fight it off !!
Wish me luck please. I will need it (I am like most inexperienced peep in here in terms of cat-taking).
With this in mind, I would like to wish ALL THE BEST to all the wonderful people I met here. Without you all, reaching here would have been impossible 😃
(a) The idea of the myriad contradictory qualities of the character never really takes off in the film. (b) The technical inventiveness, unparalleled in Indian cinema, is a waste. (c) Here he is too caught up in the spectacle. (d) The director should have been concerned with who the character is and why he is what he is but in execution the character is a caricature. (e) The scenes have none of the gravitas and magic that defines the best of the director's work. (f) In stylistic terms or visuals, though, there are some inventions but how much can visuals speak the creator’s thoughts? (g) The screenplay and the performances, the two pillars of a good film are poor and confused.
