you will have to pay the exam fee again and not the registration fees..

I am an engineer and my friend is from commerce and we are both appearing for Level 1 exam in December. No idea about level 2 or level 3. It was an eye opener to meet faculties from ProfitShastra who are really helping us with practical & conceptual training. It's amazing how we just focus on education and getting a degree without stopping to think about how it will help us in the future. or how we can use it in the industry.

The continuos decline of Rupee vs dollar is forcing me to reconsider whether i should apply for Dec12 exams or not.............God save Indians.
Frankly speaking, I am a newbie here. Only one day ago I came to know from one of the PG threads that there is a thing named CFA. Pardon. But now I am really interested to know about it. I read some posts about it. But still I do have some questions.
1. Does clearing CFA-I help one in final selection in IIMs?
2. If one only clears CFA-I or CFA-I + II does it help him/her in getting a good job (finance)? Do you have an idea of avg. salary?
3. How much preparation does it require to clear CFA-I? (hours/day, how long)
Can anyone help me in telling that hows CFA after IT job for 2 years, with MBA Finance from reputed college??

Which books are you referring to?
If Schweser Notes - then you can call up Om or some other xerox and have them delivered to Bangalore.
If Curriculum Notes - then you are generally reqd to order these from CFAI once you register.
