At the End of the day, its all about how much have you practiced the questions? Whether you study from CFA Curriculum or Scheweser Notes does matter to that extent as far as L1 is considered.

Hi ,i have one query related to CFA exam . I have calls from colleges like FORE,SIIB etc and expecting more from the likes of IMI,GIM,LIBA,NIRMA etc.I want to ask is it possible to prepare for CFA L1 along with the GD/PI preparation for the above!! I am currently working in IT with 6 months experience(2012 batch passout) .
Want to know if its not possible ,shall i try for Dec CFA?

Want to know if its not possible? Yes It is definately possible.
Rather my opinion is you must,because:
1) It is more difficult to prepare from within MBA College than from outside because You will have soon be having Summer Placements which would entail CV Preparation + Summer prep.
2) A CFA L1 cleared CV Point is much more added advantage.

Hi all I had paid Rs. 1200 for schweser from OM inc of shipping to Delhi (package included 5 books, two test banks and cd)
Did i overpay? I just wanted to check so that I don't make the same mistake for l2 and l3 notes from them....Earlier he had quoted extra for shipping which was Rs. 300/- which I chiselled out quoting this forum. What's the right price?

right price is rs 800 if u get it from OM xerox by hand......rs 900 if they courier you within Mumbai...and for outside Mumbai,they will charge rs 1200
