Hey Puys ,
anyone planning to join CFA class for L2 at pristine?
they have a new batch starting from Feb 11. If a group of 5 or more join than we can avail a discount of 20 % , for group of 3 is 10 % and the fees is Rs. 17950/- . If any one interested let me know
I had joined it last year for L1 and found it to be effective. Not all the professors are great but the imp subjects like FSA , ethics , derivatives etc were really good.

Can someone come up with an easy to understand explaination on Triangular arbitrage....have been :banghead::banghead::banghead: on it since last evening

If you go from currency A to B to C to A and if you go from Currency A to C to B to A the answers will be different. You choose the more profitable option. . Hope your :banghead: ends.

Lets say USD:EUR = 0.7000-0.7010, GBP-USD=1.70-1.7010, GBP-EUR= 1.2-1.2010

This is a question in the challenge problems in schwesser....want to get thorough with the understanding of method....any explanation in this regard will be very much appreciated

can u please tell me what will be schedule for the classes at pristine for L2.
I am working professional and i am busy on weekdays from 8am to 6pm. Also, i live in noida so wont be able to attend weekday classes.
anyone in noida sec62 or close willing to form a study group.I guess it can help u alot.

Hey guys!!

I want to register for CFA level 2 in June. But, while registrering for the same, i am getting stuck up at the professional profile section. Actually, i am working in treasury department of a corporate for past few months and while registering for the L2 exams, there is one section for updating the professional profile where we have to provide details if we are working in a investment firm.
Now, my question is whether i should mention my work experience in professional profile section while registering or i should mention it in the work experience section, coz if mentioned in professional profile its asking for further details like asset under management of the investment firm and all, but i am working in a corporate and not in a invst firm :|

If it is possible or not??

It is not possible to postpone any level exam in CFA unless and until one has a very strong reason to get it postpone (like not being well and going through an important treatment or something bad happening in the family because of which one cannot give the exam). CFA Institute asks the reason and if they don't find it genuine they don't postpone the exam.

Overall I can say that there is 99.99% possibility that one cannot postpone any level exam in CFA curriculum. If one wants to give exam next year instead of this year then he will have to pay the fees again. :wow::banghead:
