if you have proof of the fact that the result was out on the date u said then it is better to mention that...............i mean proper written,stamped or letter head pe principal etc ke sign wala proof
otherwise play it safe and put marksheet wala date
the thing is that once u put a date in records u can't change is later( remember general v k singh) no matter how good ur case
so it is better to have the earlier date bcoz god knows when it will help u in some seniority shit or some other tie breaker crap
but do it only if u can be sure that u will get a certified document from college delaring date of result.
final decision is urs
