mere next interview wala ladka was civil service aspirant.. mains ikha tha... is bar usne.. excise gujrat mein tha... he was having 355 marks.. and had come for interview.. woh toh nai join karaegaa is bar... asae cases.. who get seats and dnt turn up... reserve list isliye hoti hae.. asin seats ko fill karnae kae liye..
i dont think this idea of reserve list will click as anyone who isn't willing to join doesn't give so in writing and the joining department keeps on sending reminder for at least three months. Even after that departments have to wait for total 6 months from the date of issue of joining letter before starting the nomination cancellation procedure. So if we add these 6 months to minimum waiting period of 6 months b/w results declaration and joining it becomes a whole year, just the time when appirants shall be waiting for final results of CGL 2013

i dont know about production tax but i know at least a dozen Insp. CX who have worked all three i.e. Service, CX and Customs

Yes and many people are being engaged in service tax now as their is near stagnation in deptt and manufacturing n production has taken a back seat on tax collection agenda, service tax is booming in tht respect

southern states tamilnadu nahi opt kiya ................maharastra mein koi chance hai excise ka 390-395 tak obc mein
