1) This is a matter of personal perspective. Yes in auditor u get hell lot of tym but that doesn't mean u won't get tym in intw posts. u will get ample tym for UPSC pptn in these posts as well.
2) Again a matter of perspective.
3) See Generally TA posts go vacant each year , so to prevent such a thing SSC introduced this clause of considering even those ppl who didn't select these posts as preference.
This clause simply means that if u fail to secure any intw post or any other posts as per ur preferences then u will be considered for TA. However since u didn't give this as ur preference
u will get TA post only after all the ppl who gave TA as preference are allotted TA.
In a nutshell even of ur score is higher than them who gave TA as preference u will be be given less weightage
4) Regarding document verification all Info will be put on SSC site in few days.

Candidates declared qualified in List-I and List-II will be called for interviews. Candidates figuring in the both the lists will appear in the interview only once. (ii) Candidates declared qualified in List-I who have also opted for the post of Asst. in CSS will be called for computer proficiency test. (iii) Candidates declared qualified in List-IV will be called for DEST/Documents verification. Those candidates who are called for CPT, will not be called for DEST separately and Module-I of CPT will be taken for evaluating their performance against DEST
6) Yes u will be considered....However if u don't want CSS then it's better to appear & fudge the exm as on the same day ur documents will be verified .....failing which u won't be considered for any posts....So document verification is most imp

Skill Test in Data Entry (DEST) for candidates in the List-I (other than marked for CSS Assistants) and List-IV tentatively commence in the middle of November, 2012. Even if such candidates do not intend to appear in DEST, they should attend on the appointed day for documents verification, failing which they will not be considered for any post

When will the notification for cgl-2013 be out?(It might be quite early to ask this question, but please bear with me!)
I have heard some rumors stating ssc would not be conducting cgl-2013, can any one comment of veracity of these rumors?
I once read samprass bhai's post that sscchief tweeted something about cgl-13, but neither could recall nor could find that post,
does anyone remember about chief's tweet regarding cgl-13?
I am really worried, as this the only exam that pull me out of the hell(over hyped MNC job) i am in at present.

@harshsingal27 Buddy, don't you think SSC website is the best/reliable source of information when it comes to exams? Rumors are dozen a dime. Refer the Examination Calendar in Candidate's corner on SSC's website (Item No. 4 in particular). That might put an end to your worries. All the best.
@abhi_kool - i dont have much idea abt it , it was my first attempt . i would suggest you to take up the post if u get (and u dont have any better option) and start preparing for next year abhi se . u hav lot if time left .

Puys please confirm,According to me all the list of qualified candidates are being preparaed based only upon the criteria of marks which a candidate has secured?There is no relation between list and the choices which has been filled by the candidate?
Ex: Person in TA list is having marks more than cutoff of TA and below the cutoff of NIP tht's why name will appear in only TA list.If candidates marks are more than cutoff of NIP then the name will appear in both TA and NIP list irrespective of the fact whether candidate has excercised the option of NIP posts.

I am new at pagalguy and having a lot of queries I see a lot of experienced ppl at this forum so I request all to please reply my queries.
Brief description:
Category UR
Marks as per initial keys 330-335
Name in both NIP and TA list
Post pref (nip)
1) Auditor in Offices under C&AG;
2) Auditor in Offices under CGDA
3) Auditor in offices under CGA & others.
4) TA CBDT
5) TA CBEC.
What are the next steps for CAG auditor? Do I need to prepare dot DEST/CPT or any other test?
The only thing bothering me is thar I have only filled six states in preference
1)delhi,2) Punjab Haryana and chd,3)himachal,4)uttrakhand,5)rajasthan,6)UP
Is than an issue?
What if all these states filled before my rank/marks??
Request u all to please guide..

For auditor you don't need to do anything. Just gi with the necessary documents whenever u are called for DEST although you can leave the DEST and can come after verification of documents.
CPT is for CSS assistant int. post so not applicable for you.
Now since you have filled only 6 states although your marks are good enough to get auditor whether they are good enough to fetch you your desired states can't be told, although chances are high.
My take go for DEST and attend it, since you have preferred auditor even if you clear dest but qualify for auditor in the abovementioned states you would get auditor and in worst case scenario you would land up with TA at least if you clear dest.
Just wait for the date when you would be called for document verification and DEST, attend DEST. Although if you have no intention to be TA leave the DESt just go for document verification.
