I think u shud ask this from someone who is already an examiner or ITI....
as far as i know CBEC is more corrupt than CBDT.....
also all activities of ITI are under strict vigilance by CVC , CBI guys
so u can choose accordingly
i have selected only for non interview post... sc category,,, total marks 258..filled all option and state. any chance??

Auditors will now get 4200 Grade Pay........... Its true...... I have personally visited CAG office at NEW DELHI and he said it will be implemented within 1 year for sure......... I believe the officer sitting there knows better than what you do......
May be others are finding it difficult to digest but its a fact that they will be paid higher than a UDC.... They had been demanding for 4 years and this year it has been agreed ...only notification is awaited......... So cheer up guys....... By the time u join in 2013(joining takes 8 months after results) u will get about 30000 salary as an auditor............
If I have given preference for Tax Assistant before CSS posts, have got selection for Interview post also, now if I appear for CPT(DEST) will be taken care with that only and after Interview I secured marks for CSS posts, it would be considered?
This time seems like Candidates available for Interview posts are not very much higher then the requirement. So, even cut-off is little higher than expected, still having fine chances to make out for that. It would be somewhat similar if they reduce the cut-off and call some more people for Interview.

I have been called for interview. I belong to the General category. I am MA 2nd year student at JNU, New Delhi. I am expecting around 380-385 in Tier 1 + 2. My first preference is assistant(css,cvc,mea,railways etc etc). It is sure that I will not get ITI or Excise...... And I don't want to join as Assistant because I am told that the work load is quite high.....files,files and more files.......... I have to prepare for UPSC exams........So I have decided to go for Auditor...and I have personally verified that they will get 4200 GP...So salary is no more a big issue now.....
Now the problem is this Information by SSC:
Skill Test in Data Entry (DEST) for candidates in the List-I (other
than marked for CSS Assistants) and List-IV tentatively commence in the
middle of November, 2012. Even if such candidates do not intend to
appear in DEST, they should attend on the appointed day for documents
verification, failing which they will not be considered for any post.
I had given my address of my hometown (Jharkhand) and so I need to visit Ranchi for all exams (Tier 1 & 2) and now document verification. My end semester exams at JNU is in last week of November. There is 90% chance that the date of document verification and my exams will clash. If I do not appear in exams,I will certainly fail.

Do you all suggest me to skip exams and appear for document verification at Ranchi. Or do you believe that I should not miss my MA exams. From your own experience guide me which is more important: getting a MA degree or job of an auditor........ This was my first attempt.......
Do you believe that any job opportunity must not be missed..... Please give your valuable suggestions.... I am highly tensed..........
Plz HELP to arrive at the better choice...........

@prafullkrdubey bhai meri mano to job jyada impotant h ...kyunki tumhara main aim upsc h na ki masters degree lena ...or upsc k liye graduation chaiye bus.......to don.t miss this oportunity ......vese bhi ma me jyada se jyada back hi to lagegi na ...to vo to tum supply dekar bhi clr kar skate ho baad me....but aaj auditor nhi liya to agle saal ka kuch bharosa nhi kesa paper ho ,,,kesa compitition ho...kitni jobs ho...or kesa chief ho.......so go for document verification........ATB
