I guess when everyone is saying that this time less people have been called for interview.. is anyone considering the fact that exams at some centres were cancelled and ssc has just left space to give call to those candidates as well.. it simply doesnt mean that less ppl will appear for interviews.So ultimately number of candidates actually appearing for interviews will be more than 6500.. (just a blunt guess)..
nhi yaar had se had 6000 ho sakte hn usse jyada nhi ....muskil se 3000 bachche appr hue honge 14 ko ...or agar ratio dekha jae to muskil se 500 hi intervw cutoff clr kr paenge...vese ye bhi bht jyada hn
If I have given preference for Tax Assistant before CSS posts, have got selection for Interview post also, now if I appear for CPT(DEST) will be taken care with that only and after Interview I secured marks for CSS posts, it would be considered?
you will get tax assistant if you preffered that even if you clear everything reqd for CSS.
@prafullkrdubey bhai 380- 385 bahut acha score hai you will certainly get income tax or central excise......... why are you panicking for no reasons ? My advice to you is prepare hard for interview aisa chance bar bar nahi ayega . Auditor ki salary badhe ya nahi badhe but tumhe it or ce ki inspector post jaroor milegi if only you can get 55 in interview.
bhai usko delhi me chahiye job ........or sirf auditor me hi sure h ki job delhi me mile.........mere hisab se to sahi kar rha h .....kyunki uska main aim upsc h ....or agar nhi bhi hua by chance to .....auditor me 3 saal job karke fir se ssc de sakta h ...baad me achchi post k liye ...ya auditor me hi exam clr karke gazztd officer ban sakta h jo ki best part h auditor ka.......sab khte hn muskil hota h ....are kitna hi muskil ho ssc se muskil to nhi hoga jahan itna tougf comp. h ....auditor se 2 saal me gazztd officr ye chance or kisis intrvw post me bhi nhi h mere bhai..

nahi dost....380 me ITI ya excise nahi milta....... Aisa hota then I would have gone for it definitely........

bhang khake baithe ho kya bhai. 380-85 is gud for excise, last year cutoff was near arnd 430. easily available, n who told u that assistants have only file files and files, u will get ample time in CSS, no govt job makes u sit after 5,din me bhi aap khali hi hote ho, ya its clerical and sedentary but in no way it would be a hindrance to ur prparation. The time u could devote for ur studies as auditor is same for assistant. Don't get so excited abt other people remarks. Whatever they say is always relative never absolute.
@sandeep1x Even i gave the re examination and waiting for the answer key to come out. SSC website is the only source for it and nothing on it yet, i have been checking continuously. But the sscchief tweeted that final scores will come out by 17th (including re examination candidates). So i am assuming that we ll get the answer key along with the result tomorrow only. But i have a concern there were some questions in exam which did not have the correct answer as an option. What should we do about it?
@2012vivek bro u should start preparing for dest for TA. also it will depend upon ur marks. If u r at the top of non-int post then all is rest assured. but otherwise u have to perform well for TA. Also your worry is legitimate. you shd have given all the preferences.
@all, yar i am an eng. graduate, i got selected in TA but the thing is i want to further pursue my studies for UPSC engineering services, i m from Delhi, my score was around 300 UR, so is there any chances for me of getting a job in delhi itself ? and i read in an comment that if i take up the job this year, i wouldnt be able to sit for CGL next year??

Friends........... As I have already mentioned,my 1st preference is Assistant...So there is no chance that I will get Excise any way...... I am regretting my choice while filling forms....... Lets hope we get chance to make our choices once again.........

Also, all the auditors that I have interacted have said that Auditors have no work for 1st 2 years...literally NO WORK...Field work starts only after 2 years... You can carry books in office and study there.......
So my final conclusion:
Work load of Assistants may or may not be high........But there is no work load in Auditing job,for sure....

my frnd who is assistant feels free. His SO has given him freehand and he is preparing well for UPSC too. Anyways of course auditors are more vella in this regards.
In any case i feel int jobs are better than non int barring Inspector of Posts

who told u this? you can sit for as many times as u want for cgl till ur qualifying age is over
ITI, Excise, IB, Custom... Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra.... What could be the cut-off (Including Interview Marks) for the mentioned preferences?
