CGL 2012 Tier 2 Preparations and Results

bhaiyo koi to bata do interview kab hoga. plz?

@suzu12345 Thanks Brother...

Hello Friends My marks 330.25(UR) gave ssc cgl for first time and was last chance too for me to appear in cgl. Currently working in software MNC 30k/month salary ...Not feeling interested at all in current job...want to preparae for UPSC and state civil services…Lots of confusion…Shud I go for TA in Delhi or Auditor in other states becoz wont be getting auditor with these marks in delhi.I am very confused whether should I resign from my current job and switch to Govt sector and prepare for UPSC(which is huge uncertainity)...If I wud have been selected for Interview post ..then there wud be no second thought….but now for TA/Auditor ..shud I leave my current job… I knw there are departmental exam in these departments to go to superior positions. I think My career will be in either sector like below

TA …..to….. Income tax inspector within 10 Years

My Current jOb profile …..to….. Project Manager(Avg package per annum 15-16 lakhs) within 10 years

Its humble request to you all of u. Please share your ideas and thoughts on this.Your contribution is required on this….U knw its life time decision.

This will clear the doubts of many candidates.Thanks.

if u r nt happy in ur job nw u won't be after 10 years too
n if u r comparing govt job vs private with respect to compensation then my friend sorry u r not at all going to be happy in either sector be it pvt or govt.

30k/month is nt so high a saalry for which i wouldn't have left my job as i wud be getting 22.5k in any case in hand now, and since I m nt happy with my job I wud have left it widout any thought. (my view, totally personal, btw I left my well paying job for auditor)

of course you may get 15-16lakh package 10 years frm now but is that certain? This would have been my question to myself. Anyways nobody can take decision for u. But you can't prepare for UPSC in a cut throat atmosphere with uncertainty.

Again don't just see govt job only from perspective of Compensation, and FYI Cabinet sectty (head of IAS) is currently earning 15-16lacs p.a. so u wouldn't be happy even if u become IAS.
@creepyWow Thanks Bro for your opinion......

not actually in big states like UP Raj MP Maha they are at big cities other than state capital too, but generally such cities are big too.
Regarding accomodation u wud get accom. if it is available. In small cities u can get accomodation within 1-2 years but in metros like delhi a waiting list of 12-14 years is needed. Once u get gov. accomodation HRA wud get deducted frm ur salary
@secretworld lollzzzz .....do they get facilities like medical reimbursement,TA,DA,LTC,etc.....?

u wud get CGHS facility, that covers u n ur dependents, mother father, spouse n children , not for ur bro n sis even if they r unmarried. Its better than med imbursement though as u will get medicine free of cost no need to pay anything, yet if the medicine is nt available u can buy n show the receipt to claim the amt., no limit :-)
TA, DA are included in 23590, ofcourse if u r sent for official visit u wud be reimbursed as per rules gen 600per dayfor both lodging and food

LTC: In two years once u would be allowed to visit ur native place (for u only, nt ur family), u won't get it if ur hometown is ur working place. Every four years u get a all family LTA to any place in India

Hope it solves ur queries
@secretworld thanx............
