@singh486 i think auditor you can consider seriously..i worked 1 year then left my age is 24 though have some attempts left. i would go for audior,If you are a govt employee for 3 years then your age relaxations is also there so for sure go for audior, if nt upsc you can work for 3 years and then clear ITI.. wat say??

bhai logo jitno se bat karo utni confusion hoti hai.....I think at 348.25 I may get auditor in chandigarh. But 2 excise inspectoers ne mujhe strongly TA ke liye recommend kiya hai. Bcoz auditor ki life 2-3 sal bad bilkul bekar ho jati hai. Unhe apni personal life ke time nhi mil pata hai. they are out of station most of the the times. they come home at weakends. section officers khud income ya excise me jana chahte hai.
It's true auditor 3-4 sal bad conveyance wagarah me 15-20k extra kma sakte hai but they don't get time 4 family & other things. TA ki salary kam hai but joining ke kuchh time bad wo 2-4k extra earn kar sakte hai aur unki life badi sakun ki hai..... maine 3 sal pahle 30k/month ki job chhodi thi..... TA ka ek aur advantage hai Ye mere hometown hisar ke nearby mil sakti hai but auditor chandigarh me hi milegi... mujhe 4 sal bad ssc fir se dena hai age relaxation ke bad....

i wud say join whichever u r getting in hometown after 3 years both aud and TA wud hv same salary so doesn't matter then. only advantage in Aud is promotional chances are gud.

u wud get CGHS facility, that covers u n ur dependents, mother father, spouse n children , not for ur bro n sis even if they r unmarried. Its better than med imbursement though as u will get medicine free of cost no need to pay anything, yet if the medicine is nt available u can buy n show the receipt to claim the amt., no limit TA, DA are included in 23590, ofcourse if u r sent for official visit u wud be reimbursed as per rules gen 600per dayfor both lodging and foodLTC: In two years once u would be allowed to visit ur native place (for u only, nt ur family), u won't get it if ur hometown is ur working place. Every four years u get a all family LTA to any place in IndiaHope it solves ur queries

Scan last year results, u should get at least Insp C Ex and lower preferred posts with 50-55 marks in interview,
Job is a mix of field n desk, authority is waning by the day due to advent of ICT n relaxed tax laws yet being the beginner executive post in more than 100 yr old Deptt. estd. By britishers, a fair amount of power is still available.
Hello friends.. I dont want CSS neither can I get as it is my last option even after TA.. So can I deliberately fail in CPT? Will that affect my selection for other posts in any way? Is there any other test for interview posts apart from CPT for CSS? Please reply.. DEST is for which post?
One more thing.. Can a person survive in governemnt job like Central Excise, Examiner, ITI, AEO, CBI etc without taking unfair money... My husband and in laws are strictly against unfair means and I will have to leave my job on the day when I bring even 1 rupee by wrong means.. My husband will make me leave th ejob. I am even happy with my private job. But my father has always wanted to see me in government job with some power and position since my childhood. He also doesnt keeps well. So I want to take this job for his pleasure.. At the same time I also dont want to hurt my in laws.. So ultimately my question is.. If I can have a peaceful life(without bribes and posted in bangalore so that I can stay with my husband) and without much work load in these jobs..
