@singh486 dost same thing here got 307 only in Gen category. not filled for TA but got a call for it. Working in IT MNC earning 30k. It shit out here. Join.. After probation period of 1.5 yr u can easily bcom Sen TA. n more ever date become extended to 5 Years if u r working in central govt. So will have 2 attempt later to qualify for group post and UPSE too :)
@BJ00 my score is 388.5. my preferences are IQJKLDEFRSTUVWXYZAGBHMOCPN , also qualified for stat investigator,,can i skip stat to go for other options..plz clarify me on dis.

If you are selected for Insp CX thn you can창€™t choose, its done on rotation basis you ll have to serve all 3 i.e Customs ,CX, Serv Tax at one time or other
If you are chosen for PO or Examiner than u ll remain in Customs till you become Gr A officer

@h215 Brother chances of getting income tax is very less. And your next preference is statistical investigator so you will get that. If during document verification they ask you for statistics eligibility proof and you dont have that then you will not be considered for S.I and you will be considered for other posts. But if they check your eligibility after declaration of final results then you will not get any post. Stat. Inv. is better as the workload is almost same in both jobs and S.I is an interview post.
@h215 To be on a safer side you should skip interview and then you will get auditor in your first preferred state. Auditor soon will be a 4200 grade pay job. Now its your choice either you take the risk of attending the interview or go for auditor.
@h215 dont skip interview bro.................S.investigator is a group B job,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,much better than auditor group c job......................
