most probably you will not get any post if you dont clear dest. you will be preferred for all NI posts but after all the NI candidates who have filled the options. So chances are less but you may get a farther state bcoz some states are filled by very few candidates like andaman, north east, so you may get TA or JA thr, if good no of vacancies in any of these states.
It will be injustice to non-optees of NIP qualified candidates if they r not given preference for TA over "only TA qualified candidates" coz the commission has put a lower cut off for TA this time which heppened never before. And SSC Chief says he will consider non-optees only after considering TA optees of "all TA qualified candidates". Very much wrong:(

as per ppl in excise u can only apply for intercommisionerate transfer after ur probation period of 3 years is over. Even if u do so u wud loose seniority as u wud be considered fresh for new zone

@jatait you can download a software which called TYPING MASTER PRO...download it by a torrent...and 1 more thing it would help u in the begining... asli practice to side me paper rakh ke hi karna...typing speed and accuracy sabhi software bta dega...
Can any body please explain in detail the pattern of dest test in detail explaining whether the typing will done seeing on paper or from screen itself? and other related details

the software for dest is very much like notepad you can correct your errors in the given time by using arrow keys or mouse but you have to correct them in the given time and bro just concentrate on space and tab button cause every extra or less space is counted as an error and every tab is counted as errors so be careful with that and best of luck

yes tab space use hota hai jab aap paragraph change karte hai to tab use karna hota hai aur lines leave karne par error count hoga
