1) My name is in CPT, but i dont want to attend since i believe i can get better post in home state. so can i get myself absent after DV?
2) I just want to get my DV on CPT day cos if there is any mistake in attestation form i can correct it and go on int day?....

@doctoriim I have my DEST on 17th of this month.how was the typing test.I mean for a layman like me with no typing skills except chatting .....will I be able to finish the paragraph within 15 minutes.
Also doc verification for NIP will be held the same day or some other day.
i filled all 4 attestation form by hand..is it stupidity :)....i couldve taken xerox also ry8
@secretworld bhai will the doc verification for NIP happen the same day along with DEST or I have to go again for doc verification.As my DEST is on 17th nov in kolkata and I am from Odisha.

I think for NIP All doc formalities will be with DEST!

same day first doc ver then dest. its up to u wheteher u want to attend dest after your doc ver or not

The salary difference in TA and Aud is for first 3-4 years only. After that both draw same income. In aud the o nly benefit is u hv better promotional aspects. U can go up to grade pay of 6600 easily if u clear SA in first attempt i.e. after 2 years of ur service. U wud become gazzeted after 4-5 years only. Not possible in any other post. Saying that u wud be at a disadvantage always as u won't be treated as direct recruit.

Is that if we join as Auditors through SSC , aren't we eligible to write SAS exam after 2 years?

You will do good if you chat regularly, but you have to take care of mistakes.
Doc verification will be on the same day before DEST.
You will be allowed for DEST only after DOC verification.

i went for CPT today, they were giving time till evening for submitting any document you didnt have.
They didnt even see attestation form. one guy had brought it along but the very 'sarkari' person who was checking the docs returned it to the candidate without even reading.
There were two who didnt want to give CPT, they wrote an application that they dont want to appear for CPT and then went after getting documents verified.

had CPT today,
Typing test was simple, some lok sabha speech by an MP about development in agriculture. I dont chat at al, but just managed to complete it in time.
Excel- four schools with total marks in semester and total marks in finaland no of students given for each. We had to find total marks and average marks per student. I did not know how to get boxes on the print. it is by selecting and then borders.
Powerpoint- Single slide with a title and two columns for comparison. i forgot to make boxes on either side.
