had CPT today,Typing test was simple, some lok sabha speech by an MP about development in agriculture. I dont chat at al, but just managed to complete it in time.Excel- four schools with total marks in semester and total marks in finaland no of students given for each. We had to find total marks and average marks per student. I did not know how to get boxes on the print. it is by selecting and then borders.Powerpoint- Single slide with a title and two columns for comparison. i forgot to make boxes on either side.
@secretworldThe salary difference in TA and Aud is for first 3-4 years only. After that both draw same income. In aud the o nly benefit is u hv better promotional aspects. U can go up to grade pay of 6600 easily if u clear SA in first attempt i.e. after 2 years of ur service. U wud become gazzeted after 4-5 years only. Not possible in any other post. Saying that u wud be at a disadvantage always as u won't be treated as direct recruit. What is the concept behind the last line "Saying that u wud be at a disadvantage always as u won't be treated as direct recruit. " Is that if we join as Auditors through SSC , aren't we eligible to write SAS exam after 2 years?What is difference b/w this direct recruits and indirect recruits??
its different. At 4800 GP initially there were some Direct recruit by UPSC. This practice was discontinued later though its being restarted again. Now as per rules the Basic salary of person in 4800GP should be around 13250 in payband 9300-34800. So his basic becomes around 13350+4800=18150.
But in case of promotees say u clear SAS after 2 years of service then they will fix ur basic pay in payband 9300-34800 as 9300+3%of 9300=Rs. 9550 around lets take it 9600. So ur total basic would be 9600+4800(GP)=14400.
so there is a gap of around 18150-14400=3700. This loss deepens with increased DA every year. Though this disparity has been challenged and it would most probably be fixed sooner or later but nobody knows when.
It has no relation with u writing exam for SAS. But even if u become gazetted u wud be earning less than a assistant/inspector as his basic salary including GP comes out to be 17140. And there is no disparity in their salaries at 4800 i.e. they get 18150 min. basic if they get 4800 GP.
hi frnd need ur suggestions i have been called for dest for the post of tax assistant on 26th. currently i m working as a po scale 1 in a canara bank, next year i would be eligible for scale 2, i missed non interview posts by 1 mark. should i go for this or not? next year wold be my last chance

my dest is on 23/11.(western region).so far i've taken two Attested copies of educational certificates and three (1 org and 2 xerox), copies of attestation form. Attestation form attested by same gazetted officer. do i need to take something else....pls help.

mazak hai ye to deptt. employees ke saath.... or jab next promotion mil jati hai (5400 gp) tab kaise karte hain fixation?
@mcblutto bhayi tere admit card ke sath attestation form aaya tha kya? iam frm ssc wr too but mere to aaya hi nahi na hi kahi likha h admit card me ki le jana h apne ko, p.s mera bhi 23 ko hi hai 12 baje , whats ur DEST reporting time
@suzu12345 hai to mera 11 bje par mai bhi 10 bje se pahle pahuch jayunga...jaisa ab tak ka mashwara suna hai.. uske hisab se excel me table aayegi aasan si aur powerpoint me thodi tricky se swal hai kisi se.. simple slide bnawai hai kisi se comarison slide kisi ko slide me header footer dalne ko bole hai kisi ok subheadings ki subheadings... but after all it sounds easy.. kaisi tyaari hai..
@cglcglcgl i do not know iski kya tyari honi chahiye....really. just want to give it and come back.. table yeah... the most important would be that typing part 2000 depressions in 15 minutes.agar woh clear ho gaeya toh sab kuch nikal jayaega....wat say....
@suzu12345 na mere bhai,, meri to hwa powerpoint ne nikal rakhi hai.... typing me to koi dikkat hi nahi hai... meri ek guajarish hai jnab agar ho ske to accuracy pe jyada dhyan dena speed ki bjay... ha agar OBC ya SC se ho to speed se karo ho jayega after all 10 % ki rihayat milti hai..
@suzu12345 yaar kya tumhari dest ki call bhi aayi hai... i tried dwonloading it several times by the website.. but all it says is: wrong roll number check for another candidate. even though i am qualifiedl by could get call letter for DEST... our by post to sala aaj tak ghar kuch aaya hi nahi...
@cglcglcgl yaar general hun.. can u please tell what should i do for typing. if u have mistake then you can correct it later or it is not allowed??? if u type fast and then after finishing it remove the mistakes??? what say
i got CGL admit card for CPT. Dest ka nai hae yaar, i think if we clear CPT then we do not have to give separate DEst thing some guy from cgl 2011 told me
