These are SI recruited not DSP that will go till SSP or DIG
If someone is recruited as SI in CBI ,he can goto maximum as SP(most of them retire as DSP) , not beyond it,as upper posts are reserved for IPS officers.

bhai logo ek problem hai koi apne suggestion dena chayega ... mera interview 28 dec ko hai allahabad aur mujhe tcs mein 26 dec ko join karna hai hyderabad. kaise adjust ho payega ? chutti mil jati hai kya it companiyo mein ek do din ki wo bhi just starting mein .. plz guys help me out !

No surity. Going by last year cutoff cbi and excise cutoffs were nearly equal, but since there are less posts for cbi and more posts for excise this aftermaths would be tilted towards excise at around 420 but cbi won't be higher than 430-35. Moreover if u score for excise u would get far flung areas in excise, so better keep up with ur int, better try next year, get ur preferred states this year.

@secretworld @sampras @everyone, hello everyone, my score is 288,(sc cat), i have exercised all the interview posts, first then non interview posts, starting frm E, now i doubt if i will be able to get my favorite posts at all after interview(checked last year cut off), and also i have heard people talking abt not appearing in the interviews and therefore securing a non-int posts in their home states, so i am wondering if can also go for that option of not going for interview, and securing auditor in my home state, can anyone guide me through that?..... pls reply
@appuusingh fav post was extrnl affrs, then A b c d , did all of them, prf of state was raj, delhi, pujab , maharastra(filled others too up to 10 i think ), , home state is rajsthan

Why boss CBI se itna gussa kyun .. specially after u marked it as ur first option.
