Hi Puys,My DEST is on 1/12/12. I have some basic doubts regarding the filling of the attestation form. Some of the questions may have already been asked by others earlier but please bear with me. I'll try to frame the questions in the simplest manner.1) Will it be alright to paste a passport size photo instead of a 5*7 cm pic space?2) In section-5, do I have to fill MY name, nationality, place of birth etc.? Also, in the section just below it which lists " i)Father ii)Mother iii)Wife/Husband.......", do I only have to fill their names?3) It says I have to bring 3 photocopies of the filled attestation form. As far as I understand, it means that I should fill up the form (including pasting of the photograph and self attesting it) and take 3 photocopies of the same filled up form. Am I correct?Or does the photograph have to be pasted and signed on all the 3 photocopies?4) I had read somewhere that the Identity Certificate (the last page) needs to be treated in a different way from the rest of the form. It needs to be attested 3 times separately by a Gazetted Officer. Am I right? Or should I treat it as the rest of the attestation form, i.e , get it attested once and take 3 photocopies of it?Thank You
1) yes it can be done as nobody is going to measure that
2) No, your name you hv already filled in sec 1, In sec 5 the six columns are given for details of father, mother, wife, brothers and sisters, do fill in all their details including their names, though space is less, try to accomodate with smaller fonts , if cannot be done separate sheet can be attached with same format of sec 5
3)Photo should be pasted and signed on all 3 sets, one set hand filled and other two sets can be photocopied or all three sets can be hand filled. Photocopy to be done only for the written part and not the photo.
4) Yes Identity cert in 3 copies are to be filled each separately and attested by either 3 different gazetted officer or by same GO.... Identity Cert not to be photocopied.
Can custom officers work in an honest manner??or Is it compulsory to resort to corruption(as lot of custom officers are caught taking bribe)??..I want to get into customs but not for money making...Pls comment all whu know about custom jobs
Hey friends, can anyone of you throw some light on as to why candidates from North Eastern Region who are selected only for Non-Interview posts had to give CPT and not DEST?? Does this fact imply that they would be considered for Assistant in CSS if they scored well in CPT?? I'm asking this because its common knowledge that CPT is meant for the post of Assistant in CSS only. Anyone??
Guys please help me ...I have qualified for both Statistical and for other posts. Now will i have to give only one interview or 2 interviews ? Any helpful reply will be aprreciated.

Just download the admit Card for interview(ER). There is a confusion.It is written over there: "Six copies of Bio-data in the accompanying format, three copies of attestation form, duly filled in, with recent Passport sized photograph affixed and signed across by you;"
But I have already submitted three copies of attestation form, duly filled in, with recent Passport sized photograph affixed and signed by Gazetted officer at the time of CPT.
So should I submit it again along with Six copies of Bio-data form.Please clarify guys...

haan bhai kar sakta hai, but practically speaking agar tumhare seniors khau type hue to they wud pressurize u, but if u r hell bent on honesty to tumhe field work par nahi bhejenge. Clerical work jyada milega. In all if u r at a kamaau jagah no one can pressurize u to take bribe but they may create circumstances ki u wud beg for transfer.

bhai Salary sirf grade pay se decide nhi hoti, wats ur pay in payband also matters. For promotee auditors Pay in pay band wud be 9300+ one increment only, to with grade pay it become sequal to 9300+300+4800=14400
For assistant pay in payband is 12540 add to it grade pay 4600=17140
