Good Morning All,

I haven't selected for either non-interview and interview posts. Selected only for DEST. I have gone thro the test on 16-Nov-2012. This is the first time I have gone thro an SSC exam.

Could you please clarify the following questions:

1) When SSC may announce the final Results of CGL 2012?

2) Does SSC announces results for all the posts at the same time or it announces different posts results at different dates. In such a scenario when may it announce the result for TAX Assistant.??

bhai confirmed today the anomaly was resolved by CAG order in 2009 itself, as per that if the promotee pay in band is less than DR then he would be given the same pay as DR but if its more than DR then he would get just one increment. If required will try to fetch the order number and pass it to you so that your friend can be helped and can take appropriate action.

I have some queries about attestation form:


1. The photo to be pasted is written as 5'' by 7'' ..passport size photo will do or not?
2. Do we have to submit any other photocopies of original certificates like mark sheet etc..

Hey friends, can anyone of you throw some light on as to why candidates from North Eastern Region who are selected only for Non-Interview posts had to give CPT and not DEST?? Does this fact imply that they would be considered for Assistant in CSS if they scored well in CPT?? I'm asking this because its common knowledge that CPT is meant for the post of Assistant in CSS only.
