In Acio IB exam
There are only few aptitude questions
Majority of the paper consists of GS questions.....
so a for a serious UPSC candidate, cracking it would be a cakewalk
& for majority of SSC aspirants who neglect GK it would be a tough nut to crack
Also the 2nd part of the paper is descriptive
In this u have to write an essay,
ur marks in the essay are crucial for final selection

Yaar.. meri university me b har yr ka alag weightage hai.. and maine safe side rehne k liye average likha tha jo final yr k marksheet me jo mentioned tha (consoildated/aggregate ) us se kam tha.. wo mera sir kha gaye.. I took half an hr to explain them ki maine kam kyun likha..they even told me that I am trying to proof that university wrong where I hv studied 4 yrs, to meri degree hi galat hai.. so, whatever is written on ur final yr consolidated marksheet, or degree, just mention that..

@Aanchal9431 hi aanchal i reintroduce myself as a postal assistant
inspector of posts in my opinion is not as good as other intw posts
please dont develop the idea of inspecting post offices after getting insp of posts thro cgl 2012
u may also get posted in RMS(railway mail service) to inspect despatch of letters
u may also posted in PTC (postal training center)
u may also be asked to come late nights to airports to welcome the PMG and CPMG
workload is heavy in dept of posts
as u know post offices functions on saturdays also
generally postal dept is the most ill-treated ctrl govt depts in india
lot of vacancies in post offices go unfilled
this increases the workload
huge sums of subsidies are given by ministry of finance to dept of posts
mof also urges dop to increase its business by 20%
so post offices sells solar lights
gives coupons for crackers during diwali
sale of gold coin etc
in future post office can also turn as departmental store to sell pen,pencil also
when u say i am an it inspector it ll increase ur status
but postal insp always reduces it
sorry to say all this
i cant hide these known facts since i am also a postal asst
i also took cgl 2012 got 330 obc and hoping to get cag auditor atleast
now postal asst at my home town
if i get cag i will be posted at chennai which is 500 kms away from my native
but i am happy to do so since i hate dept of posts
many time i am ill treated among my relatives when i said i am working in post office

i heard that atleast 10% of the selected candidates from tier ii of cgl12 didnot turn up for intw
is it true in ur case also?

as this may increase the chance of everyone who attended intw.......

yeah I didn't go for interview
@lapulga Not sure abt 10% but it seems that sm candidates hv not appeared bcoz during my interview time also, out of 15.. 1 had not cm, but I cant make a general statement..

many wnt appear bcoz they are alrdy selected thru prev. year CGL bcoz 30-40% of the cnad. r frm prev. year only and with ur written marks u will get fair idea tht whether u will get the job u r luking at this year or not but some people appear bcoz for thm wasting 1 seat wnt matter
