  I don’t knw how ppl can speculate the cutoff with a handful of scores ,which is not even a sufficient sample space to get an idea or even hint of expected cutoff..this grp consist not more than 300 members which is  no where 1% of the actual ppl who gave the exam…still ppl here are so confidently coming up with cutoff..guys..Cil is trying to make a better transparency system by showing us our marked answer n letting us evaluate our marks and speculate the areas in which we need improvement, I hope we should learn from my mistake and make use of this time by looking out areas from where the question were asked and doing self evaluation.  so please instead of creating polls and cutoff estimates we should focus on areas which need to be improved, who know that might makes the difference in future and please guys patiently wait for the next official announcement   

There are different opinions about  Work culture, and organisation culture in CIL.  

Any one knows about it. 

What is the need of not giving negative marks,  3 Lakh bond, 

Is it tough to work there.????? 

To bhai mtlb 80 percent of written and 20 percent  of interview will decide future of candidates in coal

Hey friends i dont know why the admin are banning me instead of banning people who are abusing people and spreading hateful things on casteism anyways coming to the point i am here to share my ideas and views and to know views of people too. Some people are spreading lies here that you can get 20 out of 20 in interview i will say that aise toh bhai written mein bhi 200 out of 200 aa jayenge sapno mein hahah!!!. Be practical accha lets do one practical check Yesterday PO/SO marks were declared. I just wanna ask that tell me honestly that HOW MANY OF YOU GOT 18-19 out of 20?? Please tell me and if not then HOW CAN THIS MAGIC HAPPEN IN CIL?? KYA KHUD SARASWATI MAA AAPKO GYAAN DENE AAENGI CIL KE INTERVIEW SE PEHLE?? Please tell me

In all there surveys happened on PG here and all my relentless research about possible cutoff and that includes personally interviewing people on various platforms and blogs POINTS TOWARD ONE CRYSTAL CLEAR CONCLUSION I GOT WHICH IS THAT CUTOFF GONNA BE 145-155 FOR GENRAL. Now its End of debate and its better to prepare for interview accordingly. 

Those who gave exam in slot 2 can add only 1 mark to there total which is due to the wrong BOAT QUESTION in QUANT. Rest of the question are right wether you believe it or not it doesnt matter as according to TEXT BOOKS all questions are right. People in CIL are Hardcore Government academic bureaucrats they only accept what is written in Text Book like Aswathappa and Robins. So totally forget about googled answers All the best for final result and interviews.

Some people on this page dont believe in the concept of "SAFE SCORE" they say that scoring 20 out of 20 in Interview can get you into CIL even if you hae just cleared cut off BUT i believe in the concept of "SAFE SCORE". I from my own experience at various exam and that by observing others came to believe that in interview most people get average score. So Wriiten gives you an edge irrespective of the fact that you are fresher or a work ex guy and other factors especially when ratio is 80:20. So what can be LEAST SAFE SCORE

  • CUTOFF+25
  • CUT OFF+10
  • CUTOFF+20
  • Upar wali category se jyada hain toh CIL MUBARAK
  • CUTOFF+30

Any idea when are the results going to be out...

 If there are any changes to the key, will that be considered for every individual evaluation or only who raised the query? 


Will final round have both GD and PI or just PI? Although advt mentions only about interview but read on some websites abt GD as well. If some1 has any idea about it, pls answer.
