No specific information regarding this is still available on the CMAT website or the website of the colleges. But according to information available the best of the 2 scores would be taken by the colleges. Thus colleges should be accepting both sept & jan CMAT scores.

Let me try and throw some clarity.. CMAT will be conducted twice, in September and January. Each candidate can attempt it twice, if he so wishes. The only purpose behind conducting the exam twice each year is to provide candidates with an opportunity to improve upon their test scores.
Thus, each college who is taking CMAT scores, be it KJ Somaiya, JBIMS or GIM, will take the
best out of the two scores that have been scored by a candidate in either of his two attempts. Hope this clears some of the doubts up..
