Guys, I have a doubt.. I am confused about which IIM to join if I convert few of them, and IIM udaipur added further more to my worry ...Consider my concern- IIM Udaipur has mentioned its average placements (over all) as 12.84 lacs, while domestic average is mentioned as 11.94 lacs ..
now case 1 - If we consider top 50%ile placemnt average of 15.92 lacs as inclusive of international offers ..
then.. botton 50%ile average comes out to be 12.84 - (15.92-12.84 ) = 9.76 => that means the bottom 50%ile students avg comes around 9.76 lacs only .. (not good still)

case 2 - If we consider top 50%ile placemnt average of 15.92 lacs as domestic offers only .. (less likely case)
then.. botton 50%ile average comes out to be 11.94 - (15.92-11.94 ) = 7.96 only
=> that means the bottom 50%ile had average less than 8 lacs only .. which is troubling.
I want ur opinion about it ?? now the batch size is even more than last year. .

Guys it is a very sad day today, never ever we would have thought that someone from IIM community would have stooped to such a level.A few minutes back, we had someone called as @imsharmaarun posting some content on our page regarding a "B-leak." We went ahead to answer it, as usual, we had addressed patiently the queries of all aspirants when they posted the same link in our WhatsApp group as well.
But then few aspirants contacted us, and what we came to know is appalling and extremely shameful. That @imsharmaarun is a current student of @IIMRaipur and is trying to mislead the aspirants with such comments and posts. Almost all of us try to help the aspirants in every way possible and then there is someone like this, who erodes all the trust and the good work that all the Adcom teams do.From now, I can only advise the aspirants that please make informed decision and do not trust anyone's opinion on pagalguy, as what we have seen today is unprecedented.
Is IBP course good ?? I mean students go out only for 2 weeks. During my job (IT) , I had gone to onsite for just 15 days to singapore, I didnt find any value addition because of such a short trip. So, I want your advice regarding it ??

Hey everyone I am placed as a graduate engineer trainee in a manufacturing industry, I am in there pay role but I have 1year of probation period and I have no notice period will it be counted in my work experience or not?
A few clarifications about IIMU to all who are sharing/following the comparison excels on PG -
1. New Campus Update: We have completely shifted to our new campus in December 2016.
2. Competitions Won: The students of IIMU have won 12 competitions including the Berger Innovation Challenge(Top 3), Reliance brands Quiz (1st) , EY Quiz (3rd) in the year 2016-17.
3. Finalists: Our students have been finalists at more than 15 competitions, which include Vodafone Voyage and various compeitions conducted by IIM Calcutta, SPJIMR, IIT Delhi, and other esteemed B-schools.
4. Entrepreneurship at IIMU: IIMU alumni have 19 startups that are operational. These include the likes Ikerz, Bombay Shaving Company, Neu Tree ventures(Priptos), Hunnarr etc. (further info in the comments section)
Two students of 2016-18 have their medical startup - Nirogya clinic, that recently went operational in Ahmedabad.
We also have 8 startups by the current batch (2016-18) in progress.
I respect the efforts put in for the study done by individuals. But I hope, at this peak time, you clarify every info you post. Thank You :-)
