Since its official now , the stats and quotas are confusing me even more . I have a Maharashtra Domicile certificate and have done my 10th from Mumbai .
12th and Graduation from Chennai .
So which category do i belong to and out of Cmat and Cet which scores would help me get into premium B-schools in Mumbai like Jbims?

CET is back... but 85% seats for Maharashtra thro CET and only 15% for Outside through CMAT 😞

the notification on dte website says
85% of seats in govt granted and 65% of seats in non-granted colleges will be filled by CET..
and the rest 15 % seats will be filled by CMAT, CAT etc
its too obv JBIMS is a govt granted inst ..so CMAT is of no use for HU students ..
change in strategy .. focus on CET

Guys am SUPER confused with the DTE notification 😠😠😠😠 and i would be extremely grateful if someone could clear out a couple of things for me ! My background: I am a non Maharashtra student and i wrote CMAT ONLY for JBIMS. Am not interested in any college other than JBIMS.
My queries-
1) a) CET can be written only by students from Maharashtra or can outsiders write it as well ?
b) and assuming outside people can write CET , will they be allowed to apply for the 85% seats if they write CET ?
2) Regarding the 15% seats for CAT /XAT/ CMAT. Can Maharashtra students apply for these as well using their XAT/CAT/CMAT scores ? And (assuming) they can, will they be given preference in these 15% or will they be treated on par with all India students ?
3) any guesses on how will they equalize the CAT/XAT/CMAT scores for the outsiders ? Or if any of the exams will be given special preference ?
