First of all, many congratulations on qualifying ERP certification, that too with a scholarship.
I have a lot of foggyness regarding the course. some of them are here :
1. I have gone thru the entire thread regarding ERP, ppl have mentioned that the course is huge in structure, could you please clear about the same.
2. How should i arrange the study material (apart from buying it at full cost)?
3. I am currently working, so can i register myself as student as there is a pre-requisite of being a risk industry professional
4. what are your future plans after clearing ERP

Thanx. Here is my take on your queries:
1. Yes, the course is huge. In total thr are about 80+ recommended readings for the exam covering every aspect of oil, natural gas, electricity, derivatives, risk... a background in any of these fields is an added advantage.
2.definitely buying the material at full cost will be very expensive. I bought d material from a photocopy shop in delhi ( around 7k-8k).
3.The prerequisite is only 2 years of workex and nothing more. Why should you register yourself as a student while u are working? I dont see any point of doing it.
4. Future plans: Hmmm... this is a tricky one. Actually I already hav a job offer from a good consultancy firm(in energy domain). I was really particular about d domain & role offered to me, hence, as of now, I am working on improving my existing offer.

Approximately how much time should be devoted for the entire course? or rather how much time you gave for ERP studies?
For taking the exam, i think there is no pre-requisite but to use the designation of ERP, one should have a min 2 yrs of wrk ex?..please correct if i am wrong.

@Tarun: Yes you are right that thr is no prerequisite for the exam...but wont u b willing to use d designation as soon as u clear d exam... what I meant was dat if you hav d requisite workex only thn it makes sense to give this certification...
As far as preparation is concerned, actually it depends on where you start from. I had a finance background with a workex in power sector... which covered approx. 40% of d course. Physical(oil, gas, coal) and risk were new to me... I dont knw hw much you can study at d weekends but nothng less than 350-400hrs of study is required for the entire course.
I came across 2 photocopy shops whch had d material... I hv replied via pm for d contact details of both of them....
