Well, depends on what you are looking for. Placement scenario is pretty good. Faculty is one of the best. I have decided to join so i am pretty much on the same boat!

i talked to a stu of fostiima readin in 2nd yr..
acc to him,, only if ur intrst is in mktng or finance,, then go fr it. else,, no point at all..cz faculty fr only these 2 crses are amazing there.. rest u do nt hav at all...
then 100% placement is nt true... even he is still struggling fr placemnt ..(with mktng).
many of the cmpanies they have listed have n cm this yr fr placemnts..like sks ...
also highest ths yr is 8lac with only 1 getting placed there...

infra nt gud (though nt really a concern) .. besides that no activity except a marathon race, jim corbett trek..no canteen...
he said that only fr finance n mkting its better than other delhi colleges,, else a cmplete waste of money and time..

i ws planning to apply bt m nt doing that nw...
take cre and spend ur money and time wisely...

I have done my bit of snooping around too .. infra is definitely not good .. however the companies that are coming are offering good profiles (told so by a student studying there) .. dont go expecting tons of activities etc .. but a great faculty and decent placements .. ROI is pretty good too as the fee is comparatively less than other Delhi colleges .. so you need to weigh your pros and cons before making your decision ..

I have no knowledge about the HR/IB thing and since I am interested in finance and marketing, i am taking it up! I was sceptical too at first.. but when I met some of the students and faculty I gathered confidence.. I would advise you to take the feedback of more people..! and let me know too!

i talked to some student of fostiima,they told placement is preety good,this year one student got the 14 lakh package....but one thing wrong is about there degree of mba from podhichery uni...in distence mode but facult told regular mode

I just want to know that Fostiima is neither AICTE approved nor UGC approved,
so would there b any problem after we pass out and search for job.It is providing us PGPM which i think doesn't hold much value.Please provide me details about it and also the degree which FOSTIIMA is providing.

First of all I would like to thanking you for sharing your doubt here.

Being a FOSTIIMA alumnus I will try to answer your all query one by one.
Recognition: FOSTIIMA's degree is UGC approved and it recognized by Pondicherry University
Placement: Since FOSTIIMA will provide you best placement opportunities through its PAN IIT-IIM network. So I don't think so you have to bother about placement.
Another thing many well know company visiting FOSTIIMA every year for campus placement like: Infosys, TCS, HCL, IBM, Britannia, ITC, Starwood, VBHC, Kotak, Axis, ICICI, HDFC, Polyplex and many more. So you don't worry about authentication of its degree.

wat is the scene of HR placements at FOSTIIMA?

my only confusion is the university it is affiliated to i.e the university of pondicherry. is it as recognised as the university on mumbai or pune??
Also i heard a new mumbai campus has come up? if anyone can shed light on the mumbai campus and the placement , faculty scenario there..i would be highly grateful.

Also is the faculty for both campuses the same or different? Thank you
