Hi, I have 3 years of work experience. Could you please advise me If I can get into any top MBA executive course 2014 batch.
Can someone please tell me what is Executive MBA? How it is differ from other MBA?
Hello All,
I have an overall experience of 4 years in IT field, with a 90 + percentage throughout academics.
I have been trying to bell the CAT for the past two years with no success.. (1st attempt - 85 percentile, 2nd attempt - 92 percentile-- screwed up big time !).
Few points I would ask for your expert opinion & guidance for:
First of all ,My friends who have done their MBA from IIMs / XLRIs are telling me that trying for another year to crack CAT is a bad career choice as I have already 4 yrs of working exp ( as on Jan , 2013). I should try for Exec 1 yr program .
My question : Is this a myth or a fact ?
Also if I have to start preparing for Exec MBA,please help me by guiding me through what are the exams , how to prepare, when are the exam dates, in one word, EVERYTHING needed to get it this year !
Secondly,Also they are telling that with this much work exp, I will be getting only IT domain of work, if I do 2 yrs Full time/ 1 year Exec program, so I will not have any option to change my domain of work.
My Question : Myth or Fact ?
Please help !
Thanks in Advance !

Hi all,
I am a CA with 3 years of post qualification experience (in Kobe Steel, a Japanese steel giant, in a mixed accounting/finance/legal/overall supervisory profile and HCL Technologies Ltd. in an MIS profile). Have previously done B.Com (Hons) from DU. I am keen to go into a more niche profile where I can put my communication skills to use. Now i'm thinking of doing MBA (though i am open to any other courses as well) but am in a dilemma about what would suit my profile and experience. I gave the CAT in 2013 without any serious preparation and got 80.5 percentile. I also got a score of 580 in a mock GMAT. Please help me decide what should I do as I want to start my studies within one year because beyond that I would be overage by most standards (I'm 25 right now). Kindly help! Thanks in advance!
