with 37 months exp, u cant go fr emba frm top insts...bt u can get sum emba of course, jst google it...some of the insts offer emba after 2 yrs of wrk exp...ok..n one thing i must mention mba is always best when its full tym. just think how passionate u wer whn u did ur B.Tech 4 yr ful tym. i am also in a dilemma whether i shud leave a steady job or not?? i have one yr exp post btech. wel u can try fr part tym mba also, from sibm, iift etc..those r very gud, bt they dont offer placement fr part tym guys...n another big issue is most of the banks dnt provide loan fr part tym mba, they provide loan only fr full tym. thats a risk..now upto u..i wl b hapy if i am able to help u!

Personally, I will not prefer part time MBA. I guess people with workex >36 mnths are reluctant to go for 2 yr MBA. But if u can get top 15 colleges, it's very good deal !

ya u r right! my last yr cat score was 78%..if i get it ths tym around 85 % i wil bang it

Hi , I had done some digging over this course and also asked one of the alumni from sp jain ( Mumbai campus) and got good feedback.
Job placements are good , but fees are much higher around 20-22 lakhs, if you opt for international offer you may get better pay package..if u go through their Global MBA site u will get placement related info, class profiles etc.

Is 85% enough to get calls from good colleges..? I suspect

I am asking about executive MBA from SP jain not about GMBA

Hi everyone,
I have an experience of around 5 years in the IT industry.
I m interested in pursuing an executive MBA from a reputed institute.
Please enlighten me .

@vaidhai----> s p jain is a very reputed intitute, with good infrastructure n good placements, bt as far as i know they do not provide placement for emba course..cost is also on the higher side. there is another problem some banks dont consider emba course so, they do not offer education loans.. mind all this things. bt if u can do this course it will be beneficial surely..upto u now...chek out IMT gaziabad EMBA,thats also very reputed!!

I am 30 year old working lady working at back office level and I want to do distance learning MBA & after doing much research, I have shortlisted below two institutes as per my budget (1.5 lakh at max for full course) and eligibility (49.33 % in B.com).

But now I am confused which one to select between sikkim manipal university and AIMA delhi

Please tell me which one is better out of this two

Option 1) Sikkim manipal university
- offers 2 year MBA degree
- provide weekend lectures for 3 hours on staurday evening and 4 hours sunday morning at its study centres
- admission process is simple
- assured placement assistance
- As a part of course - we have to submit 3 assignments per subject in each semester and project at the end of course while exams will be objective based
- Fees 76k for full course along with weekend lectures.

OR

Option 2) AIMA delhi
- offers 2 year ePGDM diploma certificate
- supported by e-learning (online live lecture) at centre of Hughes net global education once in a week for 2 hours
- in admission process - require mat scorecard and personal interview for admission process
- placement assistance will be given in the end of course.
- I was told by hughes net that assignments, case study & project will be part of course
- Fees 1.15 lakh for full course.

Which one should I pick from above two - which will be better? Brandname wise which is good and which has more market value? I would prefer MBA with HR.
