CAT was a total disaster... 85.64 %ile . So applied at IIM-B (Finance and Accounts Area) without mentioning anything about CAT... When can I expect an accept/reject decision given that RAT is supposed to take place during first week of March? Or does IIM-B even inform the rejects??

Hi Friends,I have 10 years experience in IT Consulting. I am BE +MBA. My academics have been avg 80%. CAT 2012 didnt go well at all. scored 88 percentile. VA 94 and QA 72.
Applying for HR Area only to all IIMs. What would be the chances to get shortlisted ?
Any Thoughts pls.

Anyone here applied for IIMC FPM? Do we need to send the reference letters somewhere?

Please help the form is very confusing. I have not yet finalized the SOPs

@vip3r If you are using the online form, you have to complete and save all the 4 steps (Steps 1 through 4). After that you will see a button at the bottom of the screen for filling in details of your referees. After you fill in the referee details, you need to click on the 'submit' button, and your referees will receive the recommendation links by email.

Just the thing i was looking for. Thanks. Just one question reference process does not have to be completed by deadline now does it? What if the faculty does not fill up the form by the deadline? Thats why I wanted to take my form to the institute and submit off-line personally. However the Offline Application requires the CAT Voucher Number which i have lost sadly

@vip3r I think even the recommendations need to be completed by the deadline. You can drop a note to your referees regarding the deadline, and request them to complete the reccos on your behalf at the earliest. You still have 5 more days, so no worries.

Yeah will visit my college and personally meet them and explain the situation... Was having a hell of a hectic week at work Just could not manage as much as I tried (Good thing is that my college is 45 minutes from Joka an option to be used in case of an extreme emergency)

@amitmohapatro Hi. You don't have to post multiple times to get your queries answered. If someone can, they will answer.

Coming to your query, how does it matter if anyone here thinks whether you will be shortlisted or not. I don't think anyone here are part of the admissions committee. Unlike MBA, FPM selection takes into account many things which includes scores as well as profile. So just hope for the best and keep preparing for the interviews.

I have applied online for FPM 2013 programme at IIM C.Should I send all the documents?or it is for ofline applicants??

@amitmohapatro IIM B allows application even without any test score and IIM Idr takes RAT if u donot satisfy 80%ile in every criteria.
In 2010 IIM Calcutta cutoff was 80%ile although I donot have idea abt last year's criteria for IIM-C.
