Besides IIMB, IIMs Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong and Calcutta (deadline for IIMC is today) are still accepting applications. Even if you are targeting only A, B and C you can still apply to the others to get a first hand experience of the process so that you are better prepared in case you need to apply next year.
@invban On the contrary I believe, people who forego lucrative corporate career to join FPM would have a genuine interest. Why else would they choose a path that is financially less rewarding, work wise stressfull and reward wise modest.
PS ----- strictly my personal views , pls go by yr convictions :)
hi...today i got mail from iim rohtak regarding fpm..can u tell me wat is cut off for various iims and for which iims date is still there???
IIMs Bangalore, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Rohtak and Trichy are still accepting applications.
You should also take note that business schools abroad prefer PhD applicants with relatively less work experience and who are relatively young.
Good luck!
hi i m quite new here.. some say Fpm is considered equivalent to ph.d and some not....which is a better choice?...does doing a ph.d teaching more recognised than spending 4-5 years in fpm.. what is ze difference. Please clarify my doubt.Thank u!!
i agree that doing fpm as a rigourous course against ph.d is an added advantage, but why is it not equally recognised? in what way it is subordinate in recognition against ph.d
Hii every1 !!
I would like to share my profile:
CAT: 97.27 (QA: 97.93, VA: 90.91)
B.Tech: 74.34 (CS)
12th: 74.20
10th: 88.80
Can any1 suggest whether FPM is a better option than PGP ?? Should I go for FPM in top IIMs rather than PGP from subordinate colleges ??
