Total Atempted :82 /95 ( din get time to see 5 questions)
Approx. 63-67 should be correct
paper was okay i felt ..i think 70+ correct answers are required to get short-listed 😞
almost all halls were full...!!! max students in this slot i feel

I met my batchmate yesterday who got selected in ONGC 2013 ...He told me that most of the ongc guys ans IES and then they leave...that'y ONGC has purposely kept their exam clashing with IES so that only interested people can ans ONGC 😃

Could anybody suggest a decent test series for IES - E&T.;

I'am a bit sceptical about Madeeasy, as experience with their GATE test series wasn't very good.

Just trying to work out scores with non-factual data..
score formula from gate website
score= 350 + 550*( NM-Cut)/(AVGtop-Cut)

Cut is the cutoff for gen category=___________.
AVGtop= mean of top 0.1%= 310 assuming 3,10,000 wrote the EC papers!!

mean of top 310 students across all sessions should be how much? some body guess this value and then we will try to to use the formula___________.


NM-normalised marks of the candidate= based on what we have thought earlier, if u are in 1 or 4 th session add 3 to ur expected score else subtract 3.. assuming a 6 mark difference btn 1,4 and 2,3 sessions.
