How does normalisation work?
one of my frnds from third session got 48.something and normalised marks are 46.something or so it seems.. I thought marks wer added for first, third and fourth sessions albeit in different proportions..
anybody else from first third and fourth session whose marks wer reduced to get normalised marks??

hai frnzzzz.... i kno its nt a gud time 4 me 2 spoil d happy env. n success after-party of all those who scored gud mks in gate 2014...as i see mostly r bsy planning wat 2 do nxt..... but here goes d news... today i got my otp.. anndddd.... i failed to qualify... jst 21 mks in gen cat..... its kind of a shocker coz 4 me d paper was very good and i was xpectng atleast 30-35+ mks (session 2) ... didnt hv high hopes as i had done self study....bt nw all hopes hv been washed awy.....
I donno if there is a reval possible bt hv asked d authorities at kgp abt it. If ne1 knws whether a reval is possible for gate exam..let me knw......Big qs - hw do i proceed now...can ne1 suggest wat i shld do nxt?????
