i am 2014 passout. i was expecting 40-45 mrks,got just 32 quite depressing mark and rank:(.i was going for a coaching class but its time matched later with my college timing.so most of my classes were missed.And moreover 7th sem was too hectic projects,6 sub & campus.i got placed in TCS.so should i join coaching again? problem being i don't when when i will get call letter from TCS or i shouls do self study this time (2015).i have the materials which i never opened last year.ques. were easy so was expecting 40-45 mrks.plzz anyone with better suggestions???

Just felt like sharing this if somebody does not know about it .... If you have got less GATE marks then dont worry...There are two top universities in Singapore which takes admission for its MS course via GATE....Min 90 % is required ..as you all might know more than 90 % of people here are having >97% 😛 this is the best opportunity... NSU university mind you ranks 7th for Electronics in the world....i do not think any body else than IITans will get admission at this rank of uni via GRE.... if you can spend 20 lakh fee and another 15-20 lakhs for living expense then this is the best opportunity. ......

frnzzz....i need an advice....
one f my colg frnd in electronics branch had passed out last yr and joined an IT cmpny 4 mnths ago....she too had written gate for ec..hwever she just mnged qualified with 26mks in gen cat...coz it ws difficult 4 her 2 keep up with 10hrs job and studies.....she used to b 1 of d bright students....and nw she wnts to gv further exams like ese.....but fears dat she will not give enuf tym for dem......she askd for 3 mnths study leave frm her cmpny..but dey flatly refused bcoz as per policy such extended leave is possible only if she completes atleast 18mnths in the cmpny.......she is fed up of the IT wrk and the long hrs and she dosnt see a future der......bt shes skeptikal dat her parents mite object to her resignation...... she tld me dis n i ws unable to gv her a solution....
so....cn any1 plz suggest hw shud she manage tym??? shud she convince hr parents and resign and do self study or join ne classes?? or is der a better way she cn manage tym 2 study and excel in exams widout losing job??
