GIM - Goa Institute of Management | Fees, Cut Off, Placement

The interview details have been updated on the GIM sify site.

Although I was specifically told in the mail which I had received on 13th that I have been shortlisted for both PGDM and PGDM HCM, on the site it says that I have been shortlisted only for PGDM HCM.

Can somebody please confirm if they have the same issue or am I the only 1?

do we need to fill any document after receiving mail from GIM regarding interview date ?or before interview ?

@dipanjalib how r centers alloted in delhi..i guess there r three centres..r they allotted score wise or exam wise,,,.is that true??

Will we get any kind of form like cv or sop type to fill it up before interview? Or we need to carry our cv?

Hello friends.. I had my GIM GDWATPI at St Joseph College of Business Administration Bangalore

Slot: 13:30

X: 87

XII: 72

BE: 6.37 CGPA (58%) Chemical engg

Work ex: 19 months in core Production

GDWAT topic: Relationship between ecological balance and economic growth

GD description : We were given 5 mins to tell everyone what we understand of the topic serially, 15 mins discussion which went on peacefully i pitched in 4-5 times.. 10 people who were civilized atleast more than what I anticipated.. lastly we were given 5 mins to conclude that too serially again.. there were 10 people in the discussion and whole process.

WAT: we had tow write about the same topic in 5 mins, It was to check whether or not we are able to make proper sentences and panel told us we will be out of the process if we write bullet points.

Interview panel: II

Panel constituted of 2 men ( one middle aged and one matured male) 1 lady( alumni of GIM )

I entered the room they were polite and they asked normal questions like why MBA.. you must prepare on this really well coz they will ask 2-3 follow up question after this. Then i gave a brief description of my job profile, they were really keen in knowing what i do.. so explained.. I told them I have a goal in managing my own investments ( currently invested in stock market).. A guy told even a rookie can do that why MBA for that.. explained.. They asked me what other calls i have.. I tried to be honest and diplomatic there.. I told XLRI-HRM and IMT.. Told them HRM is not my area of interest and I will take up GIM call if I convert.. we all shared smiles onm various occasions.. They asked me about my hobbies and i mentioned sports travelling and gardening.. I regret why i said gardening coz they really asked what kind of things u sow.. And I was like grass hedges and I have a palm tree.. Not very satisfied with the way I answered that question.. Again we were back to my work ex and the interview ended.

Thank you! I hope this helps

Hi, people

can anyone provide the link of the page which has previous years PI experiences?

pls post you GD/PI experience ? it will be helpful in many ways .. pls

To all GIM aspirants,

I had my gdpi round today. Firstly ,the documents don't matter much but just carry them to be on a safer side. It started with gd ,topic - an autobiography should be trusted only when it has something disgraceful . After the gd, we were asked to summarize the whole discussion and write it in not more than 250 words. The next and final round was PI. The panel was amazing and very friendly. Absolutely nothing to worry about . Just be yourself. And to all the alia Bhatts like me , rejoice! No gk was asked 😊. So all the best to everyone . And Good luck! 😊😊.. and yes .. the process is very quick.. my reporting was at 1:30 . I was done with everything by 2:30 .:)

Hi.... how many people have been shortlisted for the GD/PI round ?

When are the results going to be out by?

People who got selected for GDPI, can you tell me the mail id from which you all got mail??

just asking does GIM releases waiting list? what was the last wait list number to convert GIM call in 2014-16??

3rd March, Mumbai.

Anyone?

Hii everyone.....done wd gdpi tday. venue -delhi.

GD : Was Mr modi's designer  suite a masterstroke ?

PI : Very chilled out. NO GK specifically for me.

All work ex questions. Justifying the industries chosen. Qns on Hobbies.

All in all very smooth process.

My GDPI Experience(1st march, 8.30am delhi)-

Gd Topic - Does ethics in business have any substance or is it a decoration.

There were 7 of us in the group and each one had to speak for 30 seconds on the topic after which it was open for all.

The gd lasted around 10-12 mins and went well overall without any fishmarket type situations.

After the gd, we were given 5mins to write down our views on the same topic.

I was the 1st one in for my PI which comprised of 2 panellists.

I was asked questions on my work experience, roles and responsibilities, why mba, extra curricular activities, last 3 books, my percentiles and the other calls i had. The interview would have lasted a good 15-20mins.

Overall its was a pretty smooth process and i was done by 9.45

ATB guys!! 😃

@rohan11590  Sir. First list kab tak aaegi?? any idea?

Photocopy of each certificate is required or not ? pls help ..

XAT Percentile - 93 percentile

WorkEx - 0

Batch of Interview - 1st March, 1.30 Mumbai

Process -

GD Topic - Improving Education Quality in India

GD Experience -

10 people in the GD. Was very chilled out. But for god knows what, the panelists decided to end the discussion in less than 10 mins inspite of it going very well in terms of discussion etiquettes and content.

PI Experience-

All common PI questions : About yourself, hobbies, experience, why mba, which other calls, why GIM, and do you want to ask us anything. Not GK, no current affairs, no business and corporate issues, nothing! Lasted for about 10 minutes. Was sheerly disappointed by the poor questioning and poor examination. Panelists seemed least interested in choosing candidates, seems GIM is taking the process too casually!
