I am appearing GMAT on 20th December, 2007. I appeared the free online test in the Kaplan's site. I scored 680. I dunno how to rate it. Am targetting a score of 700 or above in the real exam. What baffles me is that I jus got 3 questions wrong in Maths section, still I scored 46 only! ; these were not the initial questions too. Please advice. I would like to know how I should pace my preparation from now. Looking forward for a response.
NO sweat Sonali. Kaplan tests and books are generally considered 'high altitude GMAT training'. So usually scores in Kaplan tests are scored a cool 100 points (sometimes) down. But there is nothing for u to bother about as the Kaplan effect has been successful on you. You are already scared and are willing to study harder. While I would definitely recommend you keep studying, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever for you to worry that you won't do well in the real test. Last minute tips?
Go through OG11 very well....It'll help you a lot!!
Also, the real scores that you are most likely to get are usually reflected in the GMATPrep software which should be done in the end. Keep taking as many full length tests as possible....Take Kaplan book and CD tests too...They're very good.

I suggest u to join coaching for the GMAT. Then u will get know things nd will get the guidance.
The best material for the GMAT will be OG11 first.
Time Material for the Quant and Princeton for Verbal.
