I am thinking to take GMAT from past 3-4 months, but I am not able to kick start my preparation until now. I have given CAT few times and got 96.xx - 98.xx percentiles.
I guess this Hyderabad Study Group concept would really help me a lot in putting my MBA plans in the right track. So please count me in.
I am pretty new to GMAT and its prep, so any valuable guidance from you folks is very much welcome.
To start my prep, I will be taking a practice test from GMATPrep software to know where I am in terms of GMAT. Also as mentioned in previous threads I will get the OG 11/12 and Manhattan SC& CR books and start solving them (btw where can I get those books ? Any 2nd hand book stalls ?) . Any more inputs/suggestions ?

Hey dude. one of the best website for gmat is "beat the gmat". You can get a lot of materials from there. Apart from that you should be able to download a lot of materials online, if u like to study from ur pc. also i wuld be coming to hybd next month, i can share with you quite a lot of materials i have. if u wanna know more call me 9746433343 and do call me after ur gmat mock which u take from the software....will guide u with the right books..

If you are a first timer, I would say don't decide on the date of exam now and also most of the coaching centers have classes for 2 months. I am coming to hydb. for the verbal coaching, which i need guidance. I am joining Manhattan Review, which is very famous for gmat coaching. Want to know more about you. whats ur profile? My target score is 680+ but i am really not sure hw to reach there
