Some good cooks are gourmet cooks who pride themselves on always using extravagantly rich ingredients in elaborate recipes. Some good cooks can be characterized as fast-food cooks. They may use rich ingredients as long as the recipes are easy to follow and take little time. Other good cooks are health food enthusiasts, who are concerned primarily with the nutritional value of food. But even though not all good cooks are big eaters, they all enjoy preparing and serving food.
If the information in the passage is true, which one of the following CANNOT be true?
(A) Most good cooks do not use extravagantly rich ingredients. (B) Everyone who enjoys preparing and serving food is a good cook. (C) More good cooks who use extravagantly rich ingredients are big eaters than are good cooks who do not use such ingredients. (D) There are fewer good cooks who enjoy serving and preparing food than there are good cooks who are big eaters. (E) Gourmet cooks, fast-food cooks, and cooks who are health food enthusiasts are all big eaters.

My take ---D) the line "even though not all good cooks are big eaters, they all enjoy preparing and serving food"
B) is very close but i would like to go with D) because all good cooks enjoy preparing and serving food so both of them may be equal in nos. so vice versa holds here... In D) only a part of Good cooks are big eaters whereas every good cook enjoys preparing and serving food, so they can't be lesser.

IMO D.
Reasoning-:- Let the "good cooks who enjoy serving and preparing food" = x. let the "good cook who are big eaters" = y.
Now look at the last sentence of the argument. "But even though not all good cooks are big eaters, they all enjoy preparing and serving food."
This implies that y Sentence D implies the opposite i.e. y > x. Thus can not be true.

OA is option D.
It was a close call b/w B & D.I went with B but fallen to the trap π
1) In Atlanta, the World of Coca-Cola, which acts like a museum, presents a subject which, while popular and ubiquitous, is not, in my humble opinion, worthy of such institutional attention. Id prefer that museums dedicate themselves to (in Matthew Arnolds phrase) the best that has been thought and said, which probably disqualifies fizzy sugar water. ________ A.Popularity of a product does not qualify it to be placed in a museum. I'll go with option B for both the question. Plz post the OA.
Please find below the explainations: 1) In Atlanta, the World of Coca-Cola, which acts like a museum, presents a subject which, while popular and ubiquitous, is not, in my humble opinion, worthy of such institutional attention. I'd prefer that museums dedicate themselves to (in Matthew Arnold's phrase) "the best that has been thought and said," which probably disqualifies fizzy sugar water. ________ A. Popularity of a product does not qualify it to be placed in a museum.----------- comes across as a contender but when you compare it with , it loses out. B. Sure, Coke has figured in American culture, but it's really just a product.------------ the language used is modest, yet it serves the purpose to justify the point of view being presented. C. And you cannot place every fizzy sugar water in a museum.-------- The language used to denounce the act of placing Coca Cola in the museum is too strong, it doesn't go with the flow of the paragraph. D. Why do we need a museum to display that kind of subject?---------Same as C 2) Actors make explicit thoughts and feelings that are normally kept implicit. They slip inside a writer's fantasies and enact what has been silently imagined, from kitchen-sink actions to the most furtive wishes. Stealth truth-tellers, actors bear a fugitive guilt for their impersonations - they're operating beyond the long arm of societal law,___ A.however, only in the reel world, for in real world they are just as common as it gets.--------------- doesn't justify the last line of the paragraph. B.which explains perhaps the mix of condemnation and awe they have inspired throughout history.--------------since its mentioned that "they are operating beyond the long arm of societal law", there are bound be condemnations by some people while some would appreciate their antics. C.and in some ways they inspire their followers also to do the same-------------- sounds totally out of context. D.so far down that their antics can only be watched and appreciated from a distance.--------------------same as C.

Advocates insist that health savings accounts are an efficient method to reduce medical expenses. However, widespread adoption of these accounts will soon undermine the publics health. One reason for this is that most people will be reluctant to deplete their accounts to pay for regular preventive examinations, so that in many cases a serious illness will go undetected until it is far advanced. Another reason is that poor people, who will not be able to afford health savings accounts, will no longer receive vaccinations against infectious diseases.
The statements above, if true, most support which of the following?
A Wealthy individuals will not be affected negatively by health savings accounts.
B Private health insurance will no longer be available.
C Most diseases are detected during regular preventive examinations.
D Some people without health savings accounts are likely to contract infectious diseases.
E The causal relationship between an individuals health and that persons medical care has been adequately documented.

The statements above, if true, most support which of the following?
A Wealthy individuals will not be affected negatively by health savings accounts. No.It is not written that those wealthy individuals chose savings account
B Private health insurance will no longer be available. No.Irrelevant to the discussion C Most diseases are detected during regular preventive examinations. Yes.The argument assumes that all the diseases can be found by preventive examinations.
D Some people without health savings accounts are likely to contract infectious diseases. No.The argument does not provide any clue on how many(all or none) will be effected. It only tells us what will happen to those who do not subscribe to the account. E The causal relationship between an individuals health and that persons medical care has been adequately documented. No.Not relevant to the discussion. The documented relationsjhip can be wrong. Everyone who has graduated from TopNotch High School has an intelligence quotient (IQ) of over 120. Most students with an IQ of over 120 and all students with an IQ of over 150 who apply to one or more Ivy League universities are accepted to at least one of them.
The statements above, if true, best support which of the following conclusions?
A.Every graduate of TopNotch High School with an IQ of 150 has been accepted to at least one Ivy-League school. B.If a person is a high-school graduate and has an IQ of less than 100, he or she could not have been a student at TopNotch High School. C.If a person has an IQ of 130 and is attending an Ivy-League school, it is possible for him or her to have graduated from TopNotch High School. D.At least one graduate from TopNotch high school who has applied to at least one Ivy-League university has been accepted to one of them. E.If a high-school graduate has an IQ of 150 and is not attending an Ivy-League school, then he or she did not apply to one of them

In my opinion the answer would be C. As that is one conclusion which can definitely be drawn out of the question.
In A, it is said about 150, however, if we see the question carefully, it is given for IQ over 150 and not for 150. In B it was not mentioned about completing of graduation but only about a student in TopNotch High School. This may be correct but not definitely. In D, it was only mentioned about only 120 and not about how many students with an IQ of over 150. E has same explanation of A as over 150 is required for being in Ivy league school.

Caveats : - 1) Here , IQ should be more than 150 for sure selection in atleast 1 Ivy league 2) Also IQ above 120 to be eligible for Ivy league as well as to be eligible to be from Top notch school 3) Most of students with IQ above 120 - all can have IQ above 150

The statements above, if true, most support which of the following?
A Wealthy individuals will not be affected negatively by health savings accounts.--- because they won't fear any depletion of accounts so will do health check ups regularly also individual's health , affordability and medical care are linked here. Both reasons mentioned stress on wealth
B Private health insurance will no longer be available.---absurd
C Most diseases are detected during regular preventive examinations.---serious cases of illness will go undetected by regular preventive examinations and not all
D Some people without health savings accounts are likely to contract infectious diseases.---some people is very general and not specific
E The causal relationship between an individuals health and that persons medical care has been adequately documented.---In psg, there is a link between individual's health , affordability and medical care. Affordability part is missing

A and C are close but my take is A (if wrong pl. point the flaw)
