Guys where can I get the Kaplan CD that ppl keep talking about here? I inquired at atleast 15-20 book stores and they don't have an idea about it. They keep telling me about the CD that comes with Kaplan Premier Edition.
Anyone in Mumbai who can share the cd with me? I'm prepared to pay for it.

I too gave my GMAT today. Got a 730 (Q-50,V-39)..
I dont know if this is the right thread to share my experience but nevertheless lemme give u all an insight into my exp at the Pearson testing centre...
I had my test scheduled for the 8:00 AM slot. Pearson gals were very helpful and I never had any probs with the centre....Finished the testing formalities and was inside the cube by 8 sharp.
Both the essays were damn simple ...
Quant Section - The diffi level here was the same as what I had experienced in GMAT Prep software tests. Bt the s/w started ramping up the diffi level significantly towards the end. The difficult probs in Quant were really making me think. I must have done some 3-4 wrong here (may be more). There were lots of inequalities related DS questions that were repeatedly coming up. But most of these probs were similar to what I hd seen in the Gmat prep s/w tests. So my suggestion to all of u is to reset the Gmatprep test and see what kind of quant questions u get.
Verbal Section - This section wasnt really tough but I didnt score well here (may be becos of my inherent weakness in english). Again most of the questions were similar to what I hd seen in OG11 and GMAT prep.SCs were easy and so were the CRs. The RCs in particular were slighly difficult. I got one RC which was about the migration of butterflies in North America...This one was 3 paras long and ws probably the toughest. The other 2 RCs were 2 paras long. One of these was about american history and native americans.O yes I didnt get any boldfaced CR ;-)

Kap3 - 620
kap4 - 630
GMATPrep1 - 710
GMATPrep2 - 720
I had referred OG11,Kap,Kap800 and some online prep material (like 1000Scs,1000Crs...scoretop online tests...old paper based pdf docs...etc)
I dont know if my experience would be of any use to you all. Bt I wud suggest all of you (ones who are taking gmat) to do OG11 and Kap/Kap800 religiously. It helped me a lot.

I have 3 yrs of wrk exp in non-IT industry...Industrial Automation to be specific
Around 1 yr of Int'nl work exp in Mid east, Aus and US.
Have mostly done projects in Oil n gas industry. Worked with some good cos like conoco,Aramco,Woodside,Technip. Have been an engineer all throughout bt have recently got into a messy profile of proj co-ordination.
Did my BE from Pune Univ
Major GPA - 3.9 (ws sort of a college ranker)
co-currics - karate/reiki/quizzing/etc
Apping to darden/tuck/fuqua/johnson....Atleast thats the plan for R1. I hope i dont end apping to any more and I am sure with my hectic job schedule I wont ve any extra time either.

My prep was on-off types. I would say it was a 2 1/2 months long prep but u know I wasnt doing much over the weekdays.
In english I think I must have done around 9-11 wrongs. Those were my average wrongs even in the mock tests.
