Hey am planning to take GMAT in sep. I had joined Career forum 3 months back... its pathetic
they make false promises about 750+ score guaranteed but there is no proper class when u joined they promised they have faculties from IIM and ISB. when I went for a Quants class the faculty was MSc zoology teach us (mostly BE) number system I wasted my 23000 there now I have started preparing on my own..
I suggest noone should go to such classes its best form a group and study on our own.
I am in Goregaon let me know if any study group is formed in this area

hey just came to know in june that I have to take GMAT soon now..coz I was not aware of the best time we should take GMAT.. everything's in mess.. though I had been preparing for GMAT..but not at a pace I should have had..due to unawareness

So we have approx 8 weeks to study..starting from this WEEKEND..
We can start with English sectionals - RCs..
and tell the status - how many RCs we did (n doubts etc) till 15th July...
From 15th to next Friday - 22nd we can do CR and SC

General material - OGs 12, 11 & 10
Quant - Manhattan Quant strategy Guide/Workbook set
SC - Manhattan SC Guide & Aristotle SC Grail, 1000 SCs (200 questions)
CR - Powerscore CR Bible & some LSAT questions
RC - Manhattan RC Strategy Guide & RC99 for practice
The books u mentioned.. more than that we wont be able to do at this point of time as we have 8 weeks only in our hand..
For RC, we can start with OG & according to time left we can move to Manhatten of course..
As far as I know the books you have mentioned are sufficient for good prep (Kaplan considered a bit offtrack than actual GMAT).. of course depends upon the apti level from person to person...
