I am new to this group! Please include me in all the meetings and discussions.
I plan to give my GMAT in January 2011.
I've been preparing from the mentioned below books;
1.Princeton Review
2.OG
3.Kaplan (Have 2007 Edition)
Please suggest the reading material or can anyone share their reading material?
Can anyone guide me - how to go about the GMAT preparation?

took a stab at GMAT recently. Scored a disappointing 680(Q:50,V:33, AWA:5 )
Targeting ISB and a few schools in the US and UK.
guess i will have to retake the test....
Anyone in (or around) Andheri East who can share some tips on Verbal ?

). That Quant score hurts 😐 a bit as I never tasted a score below 50 in any of the preps. but still think it should go well...Any1 here in mumbai applying to ISB R2 ?

hey congrats for ur score.. I was also targeting second round of ISB but due to some reasons I have to postpone my prep and exam date.. Now I am targeting my Gmat somewhere in end of NOV.. can u please share some of your prep material..wish u all the best for ISB.
@ jatinpopat12: Hi.I did not use anything fancy. Just stuck with the basic material available.
Manhattan SC, OG 12, OG 11. I did not use any of those 1000 SC, CR stuff for their authenticity is questionable. OG is a must do as it is an official GMAC book.
For prep tests, I registered for Manhattan CAT ( honestly, i think they are really worth each of the $ 39 u spend ) and the two GMAT Prep tests.

@AnshuChouhan- Thanks a lot.. I guess Manhattan also provides a CD containing Mocktests... Do u have that.. and these CDs are better or online packages...

no idea abt the CDs. Tough to compare the two i guess. The online package has 6 tests, which i think are good enough.
Not sure if too many people buy CDs..???

hey buddy
it is very important to know ur weaknesses..places where u constantly make mistakes.
i realized that i make errors and didnt learn from them.
so in a nutshell, understand why you made the mistake and try working upon it.

Great to see mumbaikars all set for GMAT.
After my CAT and XAT debacle..it seems like CET and GMAT are the only options left.
Can someone please guide me as to how to approach GMAT, which all colleges to apply, when does the application process start etc.?
I plan to start preps right after CET, thts March first week.
