hey sharad77,
yes, there are b schools in the top 10o ranking that require no prior work experience .
(like some uk schools i don exactly remember the name..one of my friend is actually doin a mba der....in us schools like RIT and clarkson too don require prior work experience.)
but what i learnt frm their experiences and my research is that work for a decent period of 2 yrsa and then apply for b school would defenilty improve ur profile as well as your business knowledge.)
my suggestion is you finish your graduation and immedialty give gmat ..get a decent score and work peacefully for 2 yrs....apply for the top 25 and i thnk if uhave a good profile suiting that particular school u can get through easily...
best of luck,
kalyan
me too frm chennai thinking of taking up Gmat around feb..but i have sum queries regarding Gmat.. i m in final year of graduation & preparing 4 CAT-08 .though i have minimal intension of joining a b-school thru cat as a frsher.
i wd lke 2 work 4 a couple of years b4 going 4 mba.
it wont be easy to score high in Gmat while slogging 10-12 hrs at office, so i want to take Gmat just after or b4 completion of my graduation. as i m in a pleasant flow 2wards my CAT prepartion,i cd give better in GMAT this season.
i checked out the sites but couldnt make out anything.
can anyone tell me am i eligible to take up gmat in final year of graduation??
thankss in advance

HEY DEEPAK
Nik here, Can you either mail me . I do prefer to do group study
I gave the Gmat today. scored a dismal 530. Quant licked me out totally. Q 29. Verbal 35. Yes!. my verbal is good. I was scoring at around 30 in the preps. I am looking for some1 who feels math is the strength. I can help in verbal. Though i knew i had a scope of getting 45 in quant (as i was getting 39 in preps), i got panicky in the end and did the "GRAVEST" OF ALL ERRORS: >> NOT MARK AN ANSWER CHOICE, the last question. I was preparing from Oct with only OG.
And, pl. note that I am looking for serious company only. I know ppl who dropped off in btw frm earlier study groups. I ve 5.5 yrs of xp in IT.
@ deepakram > Try manhattan for verbal.. No comments on Quant 😃
Deepak n Nik..
I'm also ready for the journey..
