Kaplan test and scoring alogorithm are way off-the-mark vis-a-vis GMAT's. So, I strongly suggest you to ignore the scores you get in Kaplan tests.
I would suggest you people to take a test every one or two weeks (presuming that you have a good 3 months for your actual test-date). No point rushing through the tests, however tempting taking a test might seem. Moreover, tabulate the number of incorrects you get in all the tests you take. Scoring algorithm for all test-packages namely, Princeton, Kaplan, GMATPrep, 800Score, vary. But the number of errors you commit in successive tests will give you an idea on how you are progressing with your preps and where you need to improve.

There's no other test closer to the real one except one that comes from the GMAT test-makers itself - GMATPrep.
Manhattan tests are also good - they have credibility in the GMAT prep market. OAs in MGMAT tests are worth a read.
I will be taking the GMAT around end June or beginning July. Not yet started preparing.

Hi people I have just started prep for GMAT..could you please tell me as to wat are manhattan,OG, OG Verbal ,OG Quant and Kaplan 800. All i can gather from all ur posts is that these are online tests...but could you please elaborate more on them??

well i have been busy with the ITIL exam of mine (which i dont think i will clear but have to keep trying) which is tomorrow. After that the GMAT prep starts again with a bang..
I am in for the meet.. however i think we shld see how many ppl are interested for the meet and how many can actually make it.. wats the time suited for all and wht all things will be discussed in the meet..
